Teabagger Heroes Humiliated At The Polls

Sarah Palin backed losers:

Christine O'Donnell

John Raese

Tim Burns

Sharron Angle

Joe Miller

Only in Scrut's world is five greater than six.

She endorsed Carly Fiorina (even though she tried to keep her distance.)

One of your favorite libs David Corn apologized for calling TPP "teabaggers." Why would he do that if it were not a pejorative, but what they "wish to be called"?

January 29, 2010 NPR Diane Rehm Show

44.35 into audio.

It's funny. He's one of my "favorite libs" and yet I've never heard of him. That kind of blew up in your face, didn't it?

I thought I was out of the loop. I'd never heard of him either. I think Cicero thinks all us libs know each other. Force of habit on his part probably.

Apparently not, considering they differ on the matter of "teabagger."

Corn used the term during the Diane Rehm show and only apologized for using it when confronted by a caller. So they both use it. It is just that Corn has a better grasp of what is a pejorative than Scrut.

Really? Your political comments mirror his. No comment on the pejorative term "teabaggers" for the TPP?

My comments mirror his? Then how could he be a "lib"? (I assume that stands for "liberal")

Why would they refer to themslves as teabaggers if it is a perjorative term?

Do you even know what the word means?

The Washington Post has a Palin Tracker:
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/special/politics/palin_tracker/

She didn't do that badly on her endorsements. Out 60 endorsements, 28 won the election, 12 lost the election, 10 lost in the primary and 10 are still undecided.

How does that jibe with:

And the losers..... (hint: the number is greater than the winners)

If I was Corn, I would have asked this caller if she uses the adjective "Democrat" in place of "Democratic." Then she would have answered yes. Then I would have told her to pull her teabagger head out of her teabagger ass.

Therefore, Corn is no longer my favorite lib.

False. "Use" is present tense; only one of them uses it currently. Corn used it once, and apologized for it. Scrut uses it repeatedly, and doesn't apologize for anything.

Are you equating not being aware that the terms 'teabagger' or 'teabagging' were associated as an obscure (obscure back then in 2009, certainly not anymore) pop culture sexual reference with not being interested in meaningful discussion?

Even if they got the sexual referrence, the baggers are still morons and only interested in bringing down everything that thinking presidents have done for this country since 1932. They don't give a rat's that their grandchildren may have to work until they drop dead to pay off the debt that their idiot congress critters are about to aggravate. They just want to keep more of the profit they have made from the sin of usury.

(They will, of course, insist that usury is okay in Jesus' eyes.)

First, the caller was male. Perhaps you had better brush up on your gender identification before moving on to when to use Democratic or Democrat.

Don't fret. You can move Maddow, K.O., vandenHeuvel, Huffington, Moore, etc, ahead of Corn.

He used it once on The Diane Rehm Show. Beyond that, who knows how many times he uses it in his columns, articles, internet, etc. Scrut's parents are left to apologize for him.

Dang! That makes all the difference!

But seriously -- In my hypothetical where I'm Corn, the caller was female. I didn't mention it because I didn't think that anyone would come back with such a pathetic rejoinder as you just did.

I don't watch Maddow, K.O., vandenHeuvel, Huffington or Moore much. I can definitely say that of that bunch, I can only tolerate Maddow and vandenHeuvel, and Maddow just barely -- due to her incredibly irritating smug manner and mostly dreadful content of her show. Her interviewing skills are good though. I've hated Michael Moore since before you ever heard of him.

Why don't you stop sneering about which pundits liberals like and dislike, and talk about something substantial? Just wondering.

Plus it will be interesting to see how they sort out the inevitable misspellings of Murkowski.

They had some legal experts discuss this on CNN,and the almost universal opinion is if the intent is clear, a misspelled letter or two will not matter. This is the almost universal rule in Write ins.
