MSNBC says 57% is in. Reid remains ahead. But they caution that the votes are heavily Las Vegas so rural votes are not evenly represented.I'm on ABCnews.com and they say 12% now.

So, she is. Well, she had been behind.

All 3 of the Iowa supreme court justices up for retention are currently losing by ~5% margins with 67% of precincts reporting. There's been a strong push to oust them after the court unanimously struck down Iowa's ban on same sex marriage. This one is a gutpunch. I didn't expect it at all.
Come on Iowa, you're better than this.

I think the stations reporting 50 D for the Senate are counting the 2 independents as D. Fox of course would not choose to do that. And CNN might be calling Bernie Sanders a D and Leiberman either and I or an R.This leads to a very interesting question.

Well, I'm fresh from volunteering for the Patty Murray campaign and I can report WA state is going to be racked with scandal and contested vote counts for months.
The state went to all absentee balloting (aka all mail in ballots) after the 2008 election. So this is the first election since that change with a large voter turnout. Low and behold the bugs have not been worked out. Hundreds of people showed up to vote in the very few places one could vote if you lost your ballot or did not receive one in the mail. People were waiting 3 or more hours in line to vote at Bellevue City Hall this evening to see 3 people who could look up their voter registration.
Six of us went to the polling place to hand out food and water to people waiting in line so they wouldn't leave before voting. When I left an hour before the polls closed, there were >200 people in line waiting to vote. There were dozens circling the parking lot waiting for a spot to open so they could park and come get in line but there were way more people coming to the lot than were finishing voting and vacating a parking spot.
Wow, what an absolute incompetent election board mess.
This is a heavily Democratic Party county. The same scenario was playing out in the only 3 locations people without mail in ballots could vote. I have no knowledge yet if the same was true in Spokane, which is in a heavily Republic Party county. But if all those folks could easily vote and Democrats could not, and we have a close race for Senator (Murray vs Rossi), then what a messy election this is going to turn out to be.
Fox just called Harry Reid the winner in Nevada.
Unbelievable. He was down 2% in the latest poll. I guess Clark County was underrepresented.Fox just called Harry Reid the winner in Nevada.
