Fidel Castro on 'Nuclear War'

Israel defends itself against Islamic terror. Funded by....Iran. So much for Iran minding its own business. How can building a nuke be considered minding your own business anyway? Especially when they're in violation of the Non Proliferation Treaty.

The important thing to remember bikerdruid is what Islamic radicals did on 9/11. We have to keep nukes out of the hands of Islamic radicals, because Islamic radicals were behind 9/11.
wow:eye-poppi...islamic terror and islamic radicals three times in the same short paragraph.:jaw-dropp
do you and 'dubya' have the same speech writer?

You never lived there. You've never the cuban people who tie plywood planks and driftwood together and risk death on the open seas to get to The United States of America .

wrong.
i got the cheap air fare, stayed in a pension, rented a scooter and toured around.
next time, i'll take a bus to the other end of the island and take my time getting back to havana.
cuba is a groovy place.
the countryside is beautiful and farming communities are friendly places.
say what you want...i have been there, and will return most winters from now on.

and, no, i have never met " the cuban people who tie plywood planks and driftwood together and risk death on the open seas to get to The United States of America."the people i met were pretty content.

Have you met anyone openly critical of the government? What would be the odds that 100% of all the people you met didn't oppose in some way the government.

Not surprising; they were likely too busy risking their lives escaping from Cuba to talk to you.

Highly doubtful that an attack against Iran would evolve into a 'Global Nuclear Conflict' or even a nuclear conflict at all. Even then a few nukes dropped is by no means even near the end of the world. The idea that nuclear weapons can render humans extinct is a myth, not even the maximum number of nukes in the cold war could have pulled it off

That would be small comfort to those that survive the near-extinction of humanity.

That said, I think Castro has no moral authority here whatsoever.

i didn't discuss politics.
i was a traveller. i met locals, enjoyed their hospitality, and carried on.
country folk are pretty much the same, the world over, i have found.
i don't discuss politics when i travel.

Yeah, but you sure pretend to have gathered political evidence when you come home, don't you?

So your arguement is that person can not absorb the information around them, but have to ask to known whats going on

Pray tell how many countries have visited?

Personally I never went in for mind reading. Too much danger of confusing expectations with reality, but I know many people play that game.

Are you asking how many countries I have visited, or how many I have prayed in?

i'm telling you my experiences, with cubans, in cuba.
you are trying to tell me they are all miserable.
my experience proves you wrong.
think what you wish about their politics.

cuba has the highest literacy rate in the world (check it out, if you doubt me)
cuba has damn good medical care.
poor cubans have a better quality of life than poor americans. that is a certainty.
if you were, not american, and your government had not had ridiculous sanctions about cuban travel, you could go and see for your self.
amazing how experience can expell ignorance.

i have travelled to many countries, many times, over many years.
i have found that it is better not to discuss politics while travelling.
one can certainly get a general feeling of the 'environment' in a place.
cubans are quick to laugh, often have music around them, and enjoy social times with family and friends.

I have to ask this. Are you male or female? Nothing personal really, but you know how text is. I get an kind of androgynous impression. Hard to pin down.
