As a "research scientist", he would see that neither John Hutchinson nor Judy Wood have a scientific theory. He would see that John Hutchinson never researched the cause of his various supposed effects, and never properly described the experiments he conducted to bring them about.

There is no science involved, no theory, and consequently no proof of nothing.

Judy asserts that some unknown device, using unknown technology, exploiting unknown physics, caused vaguely described effects on an unknown scale. Her proof is that she sees things on images and videos and imagines that unknown devices, technologies and physics could make things look like that.

There were fumes emanating from Ground Zero for more than a year. Just look at the one year anniversary photos of the families and fire fighters in the pit. Wave after wave of fumes, a year later.

Strange fire, indeed, that can last a whole year under those circumstances.

Why are you ignoring the clear evidence from Tri? Well, because it directly and succinctly puts the lie to your claims and the guanophrenic theories of 'dustification', that's why.

So far you've shown yourself to be abrasive, arrogant, ignorant, and you've failed to present any evidence to support your non-theory (hence, my referral to the 'not even wrong' status of your 'claim').

The DEW hypothesis as proposed by your mentor, Dr Wood, is so vague and so untestable that it is not actually a theory. Not a scientific theory, anyway.

I've read the papers that you refer to. I do not dispute any of their results. I presume that the data they've collected is perfectly good. Their analysis universally sucks, but that's a part of science.

Nobody gets it right until one person gets it right. Often, that person is ridiculed. Then, eventually, everyone gets it right. It takes a lot of guts to tell the entire world that they are wrong.

P.S. Anyone who says a plane crash turned a steel building into dust, ever in the history of humankind, is wrong.

Wood is not my mentor. She's barely even a colleague. I'd say that Wood and I have almost no relationship whatsoever. The DEW theory is hers. I would like to see it debunked. If none of you can debunk it, and you are the premier debunkers as I see it, then it remains undebunked, which strengthens the theory even more in my eyes.

Debunk away, just know that an actual debunking requires sophistication more than crude behavior.

There is always steam under the streets of NYC. And for about six months, there were ground fires until they dug up the last of the buried Class A fuels. To a lunatic like whacky old Judy, this was something sinister. To a trained fire fighter, it is the predictable result of the biggest bloody fire-related catastrophe that most of them will ever witness.

So what is odd about it and what is your authority on the fact that it should not have been like that?

Cite a really good authority, because you have at least four experienced fire fighters looking at this thread. We get a little huffy when somebody tries to feed us mushroom food, especially if it some clueless dork posing as a scientist.

I'm standing by my original assessment that "research scientist" is what he tells his mom when she asks why he spends so much time on the computer.
