The 'Homosexual Agenda'

Anytime you want to provide a shred of evidence for this gibberish, feel free. It looks like a bunch of nonsense to me.

Are you telling me, with a straight face, that there was no concerted effort on the part of homosexual activists to achieve what I have listed? Namely,

-gay marriage
-the right to adopt children
-the inclusion of gay characters on every television show
-the homosexual-friendly education of children.

This "just happened," without activism of any kind? That would take enormous naivete to believe.

The future will hold further activism, along the lines I have said. There's no way it can't, given the University mindset of postmodernism, feminism, and Queer Theory. Bisexuality, transgenderism, transsexuality, "exploration," "experimentation with different identities" are all coded into the system at this point. How far it will go, I don't know, but, it will change America, and, as I said, ancient Greece may be reached again. It happened once, it can happen again.

What I find amusing, however, is how people attribute "fear" to me concerning this. I am telling the truth, regardless of my personal opinion on the matter. The implications of good or bad, or specific scenarios for how it will all work out and how it may affect the broader culture, I leave to others.

Well, first off, no, there has been no effort to include gay characters on "every" television show.

But the other 3 add up to a single concept: Accepting that homosexuality is really no different from, say, being left handed or having red hair. Most people don't, some do.

That, in a nutshell, is the "gay agenda", and I hope it succeeds, because bigotry, after all, is a pointless drain on society.

Well said.

"Agenda" is what you argue against when you don't have any arguments against someone's actual position, but are not clever enough to construct a passable straw man.

Read what Piggy wrote in post#43. Understand it. It can't be said any better that that.

And about your Conspiracy Theory to have a gay person on every TV show... That's 100% BS. There's no proof of that happening because that's NOT happening. That's all in your head.

I have little doubt of this. It is in the homosexual's romantic interests to convert as much of the population as possible to something like a bi-curious state. Why, is obvious: think of the vast pool of inaccessible potential mates a homosexual is bombarded with every day--why wouldn't he want to convert everyone?

Nevermind "why?", let's start with "how?". Do you honestly think that seeing gay characters on TV is going to convert anyone to homosexuality? "Gee, I never wanted to have sex with men before, but that guy on Will & Grace is a hoot! Quick! To the Pottery Barn!"

Are you telling me, with a straight face

Ha!

that there was no concerted effort on the part of homosexual activists to achieve what I have listed?

"Homosexual activists"? You do know that many "activists" fighting for equal rights for gays, are not actually gay themselves?

How far it will go, I don't know, but, it will change America, and, as I said, ancient Greece may be reached again. It happened once, it can happen again.

And what, exactly, was wrong with Ancient Greece, anyway?

Come now, surely we can all agree that while there may be a lot of degenerates and sexual perverts out there, nobody has yet sunk to the low of finding "Will & Grace" amusing. There are limits to human evil.

Kind of hard to reply when you cut the post up like that...But, it shouldn't be too hard to understand that normalising a behaviour makes it more likely that people who are unsure or on the fence with regard to their sexual preferences will experiment with that newly normalised behaviour. Or even the fashion. It's no longer the fashion for men out of their teens to kiss teenaged boys, but that was the fashion in Ancient Greece. It can come again; what you make of that is up to you, but the potential is there.

"Unsure or on the fence with regard to their sexual preference" to me, implies either:

A) That these people are somewhere near the middle of the spectrum in terms of sexuality, or
2) That you believe that people actually make a choice whether to be gay or straight.

I see no justification for the belief that even "experimentation" will cause a straight person to turn gay.

This Gay guys agenda for the coming week involves, changing sparkplugs and fixing the brakelines of his car followed by painting the spare bedroom and re-varnishing some old chairs. Only then will he be able to sit down in front of the TV set and watch some hockey on the weekend.

So there just happened to be more gay people per capita in Ancient Greece than in Modern America? Listen to what you're saying, it doesn't make sense. Many people live in a grey zone of sexuality between fully straight and fully gay, and they can choose to express it in one way or another, albeit regulated by cultural norms. A substantial cultural shift can change what people choose to express. Ancient Greece, Ancient Greece, and Ancient Greece are my arguments.

As I said, a return to Ancient Greece, or something very similar.

It's hard to make the proper gestures and facial expressions online, but, really, what I'm saying is not hard to understand. People just have their defenses up because they think I'm in some way "anti-gay".

First, let's start with evidence that even were "gay" people in Ancient Greece; that is people defined by a single sexual preference for the same sex. Then, if you get that far, please provide evidence that there were more such "gay people per capita in Ancient Greece than in Modern America."

True.

and they can choose to express it in one way or another, albeit regulated by cultural norms.

Or choose not to be defined by such polar extremes, yes.

A substantial cultural shift can change what people choose to express.

A cultural shift can change what people feel allowed to express, yes.

Ancient Greece, Ancient Greece, and Ancient Greece are my arguments.

Um, OK.

As I said, a return to Ancient Greece, or something very similar.

Cool. Ancient Greece. Plato. Aristotle. Democracy. I can dig it.

So, is this "return to Ancient Greece" supposed to be a bad thing?

It is incredibly offensive to me as a black person to compare black civil rights struggle to the homosexual's demands of an immoral society.

Black people are oppressed because of the color of their skin, homosexuals are "oppressed" because they want to taunt religion and demand everyone to worship them.

It is wrong to opress people because of their skin color.
It is wrong to opress people because of their sexuality.

you have a problem with that?

PS: Bolded part is a blatant lie and very offensive.

Jesus made it pretty clear. Slaves have to follow the orders of their earthly master. why didnt black people get that in to their skull?

I believe all humans are equal regardless of skin color and the bible does not say that black people are slaves. The bible does say that marriage is between a man and a woman, not between a man and a man or a dog and a man.

I am not even a believer but I have to defend the christian culture when it is under attack. Every time I see homosexuals marching they attack religion and western culture, they don't understand that they can live in peace just fine but they demand religious organizations to support their lifestyle and attack the rights of believers and conservatives.

Hate crimes law is one of the ways that the homosexual agenda is destroying the liberties of other people, even thinking negatively about the gays is a crime in their fantasy world.

It's incredibly offensive to me as a black person that you're black. Granted it would be equally offensive as any other "race" but since you brought it up...

Black people are oppressed because there are bigoted people who see them as different, and want them to stay "in their place". Gays are oppressed because of pretty much the same thing.
