College Girl's PowerPoint "Partner" Rating List

Who's derailing this with irrelevant posts about Asperger's? Ascribing any sort of similar behavior to autism is an insult to autism. This chick was regular person self-destructive. Nothing more. Let's not start using autism as a scapegoat for everything, you amateur Giulianis.

She rates the majority of them as being large. Which is weird because large guys are supposedly statistically rare. She must have some strange ability to find the larger guys. If that's the case she apparently does have one talent many women would love to have.

No, no, no. If you take away the extremes, the range of the average penis size doesn't have that great a difference. When you're attracted to someone and you're in the heat of the moment, all of their attributes seem grander. If I had to guess, I'd say that all of the "larger" gentlemen fell well within the range of average but her perception was colored by the moment.

Also, many women would pick any number of talents over being a size-queen bloodhound.

In reflection upon words whispered breathlessly in my ear during heated romantic encounters, I find the above information to be rather disheartening.

The same is true in the opposite direction, as well. In the heat of the moment, in twilight or night, there is no other woman as beautiful, but the following morning, yikes.

If you take away the extremes of ANYTHING, the average range of ANYTHING doesn't have that great of a difference.

Like being a wallet-size-queen bloodhound.

The point was that they probably weren't. Average could easily make just as much of an impression, particularly if she isn't aware of what average actually is, or she could say her own impressions were something other than what they actually were.

You don't think 13 partners in three years of college is pretty normal these days for a relatively attractive female?
No, but more importantly, didn't you think I would notice the fact that you just backed off from your original claim to a completely different new claim here while acting as if the two were the same?

You keep doing that, over and over again, on practically every subject... OK, you seem to only write on one subject anyway, but I mean every sub-subject within that one subject which is apparently everything you ever write about. When you're not pretending someone else said something completely different from what they said, you're pretending YOU said something else completely different from what YOU said. I'm putting you on my Ignore List just so I won't have to endure seeing yet another of your flip-flops.

Actually within one standard deviation it can range in volume from 123 cubic centimeters to 159 cubic centimeters. That's actually a pretty big range and I'd wager the one at the smaller end (123) is quite noticeably different to just about anyone from the one at the bigger end of the standard range.

This is why telling someone they are within "average range" is not necessarily comforting for those at the small end but may be alright for those at the bigger end.

Fine, ignore me. I have no idea what you think I'm flip flopping on here.

Which is a bit humorous since many of the men on the list are posed topless.

Outside of that, one of my adopted nieces is a lovely, incredibly shy girl of 15 who has been cursed with a D cup. She can't hide them unless she wears a smock and a ace bandage.

Apparently your "common-sense maxim" also allows men who don't know her to discuss her breasts out loud in extremely crude terms. This has lead to tears on many occasions. She is currently saving all her babysitting and birthday cash for a breast reduction on her 18th birthday.

I think you have confused 'cursed' with 'blessed'. ;)

Anyway, to be more serious, my 15 year old daughter is a D cup (E in some shops), and all the more noticeable as she is otherwise very slim and athletic (in fact she's a 32D - small back). She seems to have absolutely no trouble 'hiding' them, or at least not accenting them, and a simply switch of clothes (say from loose t-shirt to tight t-shirt or low cut top to hippy dress) can appear to reduce or enhance them several sizes depending on her mood and the look she's going for.

Yes, whatever she wears, if someone were to look closely they'd be able to see that she's not exactly flat but she can switch quite effortlessly from head-turning clobber to barely a glance clobber.

It helps that she's not as shy as your niece appears to be - but she's not hugely outgoing either (more a quietly confident, geek* type). Surgery would seem a very drastic step for your niece and she may regret losing what many would consider tremendous natural assets (I know that sounds crass but I actually mean it in a genuine way - attractive people get on better in life, however unfair that may seem, and a curvaceous figure is generally seen as attractive) when she gets older. Besides, other kids will find something to rag on with any shy kid - her breasts are likely not the problem and reducing them will likely not be the solution.

*I consider 'geek' to be a compliment by the way....but then I would, being a fantasy / sci-fi reading, Marvel Comic collecting, AD&D playing, Heavy Metal listener who's worked in IT for the last 22 years!

If you take away the extremes of ANYTHING, the average range of ANYTHING doesn't have that great of a difference.

That's not actually true. The bell curve can be wider or narrower, and for different things it is. Or in math terms the variance (sigma) can vary widely. If you draw a Gauss curve for a sigma of 0.1 and one for 1, the first will be latter and wide, while the former will be very narrow and tall.

The curve for human penis size distribution seems to be, yes, the somewhat narrow and tall kind of bell curve.

You'll notice that anything below about 4.75" or so or above 7" is in the probably 1-2% total. And finding something Ron Jeremy sized by sheer chance and sleeping around, well, you'd need to go through some 10,000 men or so.

ETA: basically, just to make it clear, you can ignore the extremes not just because they're extremes, but because they're very very rare. Unless someone manages to get laid by the whole university, chances are they won't actually encounter any extreme.

But, assuming that they are similar in shape, that means that the dimensions vary only by about 10% within one standard deviation.

My talk-radio/bar bull session stance on this has been that women enjoy aggressive behavior because they're narcissists: "He wants me sooooooo bad he can't control himself."

Nice job interpreting the motivations of women in the worst possible way.

I think it's more that confidence and assertiveness are seen as strengths. Males judge each other by these qualities at least as much as women judge us by them.

Actually, for me personally, it's neither. I do like some more aggressive bedplay, not all the time, but some times. I always have. I mean, not full on S&M kinda stuff (not that I think there's anything wrong with that, if that's your thing), but I do like being controlled and dominated to a certain extent.

For me, it's not about either me being so desirable he can't control himself OR wanting a big tough man. It's all about the thrill of being completely out of control. I don't know why that's a thrill for me, but it is. I mean obviously I am *somewhat* in control because I have chosen the man who is controlling me. But, when I'm in the right mood, I find the idea of being controlled very thrilling in bed.

It works both ways too. It's not like dominatrixes have a solely female clientel.

I shall confine myself to one remark:

Thirteen is only extraordinary if it's all on the same occasion.

Ah, I dunno, now that you mention it, these days I might actually download something like "Debbie Does Her Husband". I'm starting to miss the "golden age" porn which mostly seems to show people having some fun together. These days any surfing for porn seems to run into some slapping, choking, spitting and a rape scene or two before getting to anything anywhere near tame.

Or maybe I just need better bookmarks :p

I'll have to let the women here comment on whether that 10% is actually noticeable though.

To me, it would be extraordinary, since I wouldn't get to thirteen partners if I devoted the rest of my life to that goal. But to others it's not. I've talked to women online that have had 22, 27 and over 50 partners. And these ladies were all under 32 years old.

"So, do you feel like ******* again?"

I've heard guys use a slight variation of that as their opening line to a woman in a bar. I mean maybe our redneck bars are different (and I do very rarely venture into them) but I have heard that there.

Thanks, I do the same for men.

Re: Thirteen as a high number.

That's more than the number of players on a batting lineup, it's more than the number of players a team fields in football, and it's more than the number of players on a basketball squad. It's kind of a lot.

Because of current technology (birth control, paternity testing), it's irrational for a man to care. That's what a lot of people don't get: deep down inside, most people are ugly. Whereas men are obviously awesome for having a high number of partners, women themselves regret riding the cock carousel. Their main goal, after all, is to trap one or two men into marriage (Oh noes, I'm considering the cynical motivation, all the more offensive because it's true).

I have to wonder if you & I are the same age because this is the sort of thing that was taken as gospel truth for my generation. The sexual double standard, marriage as ultimate female goal, and all that.

I'm sure you can find examples of this behavior in the younger generation but it's just not as prevalent. Things have changed. Sex-positive feminism has taken the sting out of the double standard. Unmarried women in their 20's are making more money than their male counterparts and are less likely to focus on marriage. There are a lot of subtle sociological shifts that make a difference.

I kept a diary of the sexual partners I had in my university years and this thread insipired me to dig it out and have a look as time has obscured those happy years. Alas it seems that of the two thousand plus sexual encounters I managed to experiences I had, with the exception of when Mr.Snodgrass fell from the library ladder onto me, they were all with myself and the scores were somewhat poor. Not to mention the fact that I was underwhelmed with my personal hygiene
