http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-504083_162-20019032-504083.html This woman who looks like an angel was stripped of her crown after she assaulted two people. Its too bad. Shes very lovely.
Welcome to the Real World. You mean if she was ugly you wouldn't have cared?
This girl had the world on a string. Popular, lovely and unique in that she was kentuckys first Latin beauty Queen. She went and spoiled things for herself. So while I would care if a less attractive woman did this I'd be less surprised. You mean if she was ugly you wouldn't have cared?
Welcome to the Real World.
Does anyone else remember the case where the defense lawyer argued during the sentencing hearing for his client (who was a former beauty pagent winner) that she should not be incarcerated because she was 'too pretty to go jail'?
During the case her defense attorney made headlines by remarking to the media that "to place Debbie into a Florida state women's penitentiary, to place an attractive young woman in that kind of hellhole, is like putting a piece of raw meat in with the lions." In a book written by her ex-husband Owen Lafave, he suggests that this statement was an intentional ploy by the attorney.
Speaking of which, she sounds like an ideal personality for a reality show.
The article also mentions that she's married, a definite no-no for a "Miss" something-or-other beauty pageant competition.
I work for a company that uses prison labor and we contract female prisoners to keep the building clean. Theres a girl here who just turned 21 who has perfect complexion and she is the type of girl who needs no lipstick because her lips are red naturally. She is blond with natural highlights. She has one more year to serve.Does anyone else remember the case where the defense lawyer argued during the sentencing hearing for his client (who was a former beauty pagent winner) that she should not be incarcerated because she was 'too pretty to go jail'?

Edith, a homely six-year-old with thick glasses and a decidedly non-winning smile, was laid to rest largely as she had lived—unnoticed by the general population.
Discovered strangled with a length of nylon cord on Jan. 4, reported to the police Jan. 15, and finally investigated two days ago, the story of unattractive little Edith and her savage killing has failed to tug at America's heartstrings.
To the few who knew her, Edith was an unattractive, awkward little girl who failed to stand out among her first-grade classmates at Jefferson Elementary School. And it is this lack of social grace, more than anything, that makes her all-too-brief life—and its all-too-brief ending—all the more not-compelling and non-poignant in the eyes of a city and a nation.
You mean if she was ugly you wouldn't have cared?
