This dollar serves many purposes. First of all, it is a tool used to force people to think twice before posting remarks on line. Instead of rushing to make an emotional response, the poster is forced to give the matter some thought before responding. Secondly, it weeds out people with no disposable income who should be spending their time elsewhere. Thirdly, the money generated goes towards keeping this web forum free of annoying ad space. And finally, the money will go toward paying for real translation of the web site so that posters will know that their comments will reach the widest possible audience.

If a missile hit the grass before it hit the building it would cause skid marks. I'll see if I can find a link about the gravel.

It was clearly poor phrasing, but given how many countries there are in the world, it's not that stupid of a statement.

If there were 200 people and you said, "This guys is the 6th tallest," that would be meaningful.

If he had just said, "Only China, Iraq, Iran, and Saudi Arabia murder more of their citizens than the US," the same data would be expressed in a more palatable way. I would argue that stundies should be built on more than poor phrasing.

By the way, it's the italicized word that shows where EJ goes wrong on content.

It's always nice to see a Holocaust denier score an own goal. Here's Dogzilla, trying to prove that there are no mass graves of Holocaust victims.

You can find references all over the internet to people finding bone shards all over the surface of these camps. I heard a rabbi once say you can stick you hand in the ground a pull up intact femurs. Martin Gilbert talked about visiting the camp in the late 1950s and seeing bone shards littering the surface. There are pictures of people holding little pieces of bone that they say the found on the ground at the camps.

So, apparently, the Nazis didn't kill any Jews, and you can tell this from the enormous quantity of human remains spread around the places where they didn't kill them.

I disagree, it was indeed a stupid and stundie-worthy statement.

"Country X kills more people than any other country except for those countries that kill even more people" is the kind of twisted logic that speaks for itself. And given EJ's leanings, it was only a matter of time before he earned a place among the nominees.

i wonder why there are so many parallels between flight 77 and the US Gvt discussed plans to replace an airbound passenger airliner by dipping it below radar imagery, and replacing it with a remote control jet with a view to fly it over cuban airspace, remote detonate it, flagging the Cuban airforce to investigate and then blame the Cubans for shooting down an american airliner while the passenger airliner landed safely?

A few weeks ago one of the Icke inpatients suggested that most of the floors in the WTC towers were missing. Not just unoccupied, missing altogether. Even if this doesn't make it into the finals, I thought it would be worth drawing everyone's attention to it. I'll nominate the following two posts:

from most accounts of people who have looked into this, the WTC was never really fully completed or occupied. There were only a few floors in each building, (etc)

sure, that is just the small amount of actual office equipment that as actually in the WTC to create the illusion of full occupancy. I can see how they would have had to remove whatever relatively small amount of offices that actually existed, but the point that the researchers are making is that most of both towers were actually empty, and not just empty of offices, but empty of floors.

So every day, like 30.000 of the 50.000 workers entering the towers would step out of the elevator on their destination floors and - drop a few stories down or what???
Or would 50.000 occupants and the janitor never have noticed that you can't move the elevators to a number of floors? What about the cleaning ladies who wiped the stairs - did they never try to leave the staircase here and there for a quick coke?

It's even better when you add in this line from the first post:

That's right...he included Towers 1 and 2, so he doesn't even know what towers he's talking about.
