Invitation to Derek Johnson to discuss his ideas

Well given he is the only one of the two of you trying to answer or solve anything, my money is on him answering them before you do. I think I will rename you the "Engineer without an answer". A little long, but seems fitting.

That is of course unless yah wanna learn me real good with some fancy equations. You have 133 posts here and you ain't done anything close to it yet.

Did Gage verify your credentials...he has a habit of letting such things slip.

TAM;)

Did any questions get answered? What is holding you back?

Are you able to answer the 5 questions? Care to try? Do you claim to be one of these 9-11 twoof debunkers that Tom was going on and on about 9+ months ago?

If so, my questions should give you no trouble at all.
Yes Derek, we all know you have questions. That's why you're a truther.

What seperates truthers from the sane is sane people don't just ask questions, they listen to the answers.

How's that paper coming? Ready to submit it to a peer-reviewed engineering journal yet? No? I'm shocked shocked shocked!

I was invited here to ask these. TFK told me that you all were "more than able" or something to that effect.

And a lot time has passed. You, TFK and others have done nothing more than convince me that you're all talk.

Once again, the questions beachnut, please. Thank you.
You were invited here to discuss your claims on 911.

You have thermite as your idea. Discuss it.

I will help. Why was the thermite in the paper contaminated with zinc? With other elements not in thermite; gee whiz, element found in paint. lol, then the dolts produced another paper explain away the paint, but only referenced more fuel to show it was paint. Jones failed paper.

How much thermite was used to bring down WTC 7?
Who did it?
How was it done? Include lots of details.

If you can't answer any of these questions, you have to keep asking the questions you can't answer to avoid answering the questions you need to answer.

What kind of thermite did it?

Look at the title, discuss. Stop asking questions, it makes you look like an ignorant truther; answer your questions and tie them to the thermite.

This is the OP!!!
This is an invitation to one of the AE911t engineers to come aboard & discuss some of his ideas.
When will you discuss your ideas and stop with the smoke screen questions? That is a truther tactic they had in their how to avoid answering questions guide. You are just like loose change cult members.

yah but he is fun to taunt. I know I shouldn't, and if he was a run of the mill truther I wouldn't, but this guy is supposedly a truther expert in engineering...yet not a single answer.

TAM:D

Has Derek claimed to be an expert in engineering? I don't remember seeing that.

You know the mantra, he's "just asking questions".

Well he acts like he is one. Sorry you got me, he didn't actually claim it...my bad.

And IIRC tfk has stated that derek is an engineer.

TAM:)

Edit he is a member of AE911, Gages site, that lists their experts on the site. Does that not make him such??? I guess not.

No, that's fine. I just didn't know if you were engaging in hyperbole or if he had really made that claim.

I know, I know, but I thought as one of their ALLEGED (AZCAT) experts, part of AE911, I thought he of all truthers could provide some answers.

TAM;)

perhaps a little hyperbole...I didn't say he was THE expert in engineering...lol

No, Derek did not claim that. I worked for the gov't in the Navy. No expertise needed for that job, none aquired either. I worked in steel fabrication (pressure vessels), foundry and construction. No expertise needed for those jobs, none aquired either. Eventually I had a brief chance to go to school when I was 27, graduated @ 31...no expertise aquired, but made it through a pretty tough program.

I'm no expert, and never will be, is there such a thing anyway? I do, however, have questions hitherto under-answered or outright avoided like the plague.

They go to the root: could thermal expansion do that to WTC 7? Especially the awkward way NIST has it framed:

“At > 300o C in the shear studs, differential thermal expansion of the floor beams and floor slab resulted in significant [whatever significant means in the land of NIST] shear studs and caused them to fail” – NCSTAR 1-9, p. 473

Yet they get this "differential" through heavy model manipulation. If we ever get there, I'll be more than happy to point these NISTisms out.

or even better:

“Primarily for the east tenant floor, when a floor beam thermally expanded, the beam displaced the girder at the interior end of the floor beam but did not displace the exterior frame at the other end of the floor beam.” - NCSTAR 1-9, p. 526.

If the beams are unrestrained at one end, how can they develop the compressive force necessary for buckling to occur? TFK? Can you at least get this one straight?

or even better still

“Many of the east floor beams on Floors 12, 13, and 14 failed by buckling, as shown in Figure 11-27 and Figure 11-35” – NCSTAR 1-9, pp. 526-27

How can the beams push the girder laterally if they have buckled in compression?

TFK? Anyone?

LEGITIMATE SMART engineers that can answer my soft pitches?

Again, coward much?
TAM is not an engineer. A real engineer presents his work and does not quibble asking questions which have zero to do with their claim of termite.

Soft pitches, thrown into the stands. You got the answers? lol, but he is keeping them on reserve to help prove his thermite. WOW

Derek, what are you waiting for. You have the greatest story of all time. You know 911 was an inside job and thermite did it. Write it up and you become famous. The most famous engineer in history, standing up against the military industrial complex, bringing them to their knees. You will be on David Letterman, you will go accept the Nobel Peace Prize, the Pulitzer Prize, and make millions selling your book, How I Beat the Evil government and Won. Think of all the women when you run for Presidnet after setting a whole country free from the evil empire. Answer your own questions. What would Jesus do? Or were the Jews behind this one? JAQs…
Instead you are asking questions. Can’t you answer them? Thought you were the engineer who had the biggest story in history, the CD of the WTC complex!? What is stopping the top engineer in history from answering his own questions and explaining in detail how those questions prove your thermite conspiracy theory?

ummm given it is 1130PM Eastern time, he might be gone beddie by, just as I am going shortly...Feel free to take some time to answer your own questions though, since as you say, no one here has answered them for you, but you claim to already know the answers, or close approximations...I would love to see those answers...as an engineering neophyte.

Thanks for clarifying, Derek.

The funny thing is, is when you claim your an expert....you're not. When others claim you are, they're usually blowing smoke, for whatever reason. I'm no expert, is there such a thing?.
I think it is reasonable to say that some people can legitimately claim they are experts. Are they common? No, but they exist.

Thanks for clarifying, Derek.

Mises, Newton...that type is long gone. We've degenerated to the point that videoed ~1G WTC 7 collapses through 81 W14x730s is buyable.

Shame on us.

So you admit you have no expertise or experience in this subject, and then dismiss all those who do with a flippant "is there such a thing [as expertise] anyway?"

Too funny!

I'm off to do some brain surgery... I have no expertise for the job, but is there really such a thing anyway?

Mises, Newton...that type is long gone.
I think perhaps you've not met the right people. I have been fortunate enough to work with some real experts. They are out there, you just have to find them (or be lucky, in my case).

No No, he is an expert...he is one of those "experts" who KNOWS FOR CERTAIN that the NIST report is incorrect, but NOT SMART ENOUGH to show how so.

One of those experts...you know...truther experts.

TFK informed me last December that JREF had "9-11 truth debunking" experts.

Not so much.
