Coast to Coast AM Debate, August 21 2010

That is a false accusation. Please show one that is taken out of context or STFU. Remember, out of context means "distorting the intended meaning".

Christopher7, I hardly ever say anything to twoofers, but there's a bit of wisdom I read somewhere that seems appropriate: "Foolish people ask questions that wise people answered a thousand years ago."

Here you go:

Start posting them, and we can show you, as you have been shown many times before.

How many times have I heard that?

Aparently not enough to sink in.

Not necessarily but possibly. The fact that you will never admit that explosives are even a possibility proves that you are in denial.

Possible, sure, except for the lack of physical evidence, lack of a plausable way of introducing them into the towers, lack of audio evidence consistant with an explosive capable of harming the core columns, etc etc etc.

But, I guess it is possible, sure. And so is Mothra and super-sekrit ninjas too......

I read some. It's the usual rambling bunch of insulting remarks, assumptions and accusations.

I have read many of the accounts of the 118 first responders in the official documents. None were taken out of context. Here are just a few. They are quite clear and consistent. In a real investigation, you don't try to think of alternate explanations, you don't assume that what they heard and saw was something other, anything other than explosives. In a real investigation, you take these statements at face value and investigate to see whether or not they are correct.

Please don't bother reciting from the deniers playbook. These 9 witnesses are enough to warrant considering CD. You will deny this like you deny all evidence of CD. No worries mate. People reading can see both sides and decide for themselves.

Remember that fess made the accusation that these statements were taken "out of context" i.e. distorting the meaning. That accusation is false.

Frank Cruthers -- Chief (F.D.N.Y.) [Citywide Tour Commander]
And while I was still in that immediate area, the south tower, 2 World Trade Center, there was what appeared to be at first an explosion. It appeared at the very top, simultaneously from all four sides, materials shot out horizontally. And then there seemed to be a momentary delay before you could see the beginning of the collapse.

Rich Banaciski -- Firefighter (F.D.N.Y.) [Ladder 22]

We were there I don't know, maybe 10, 15 minutes and then I just remember there was just an explosion. It seemed like on television they blow up these buildings. It seemed like it was going all the way around like a belt, all these explosions.

Karin Deshore -- Captain (E.M.S.)
Somewhere around the middle of the World Trade Center, there was this orange and red flash coming out. Initially it was just one flash. Then this flash just kept popping all the way around the building and that building had started to explode. The popping sound, and with each popping sound it was initially an orange and then a red flash came out of the building and then it would just go all around the building on both sides as far as I could see. These popping sounds and the explosions were getting bigger, going both up and down and then all around the building.

Kevin Darnowski -- Paramedic (E.M.S.)
I started walking back up towards Vesey Street. I heard three explosions, and then we heard like groaning and grinding, and tower two started to come down.

Frank Campagna -- Firefighter (F.D.N.Y.) [Ladder 11]
There was nobody in the intersection, nobody in the streets in general, everyone just saying come on, keeping coming, keep coming. That's when [the North Tower] went. I looked back. You see three explosions and then the whole thing coming down. I turned my head and everybody was scattering.

Greg Brady -- E.M.T. (E.M.S.) [Battalion 6]
We were standing underneath and Captain Stone was speaking again. We heard -- I heard 3 loud explosions. I look up and the north tower is coming down now, 1 World Trade Center.

Keith Murphy -- (F.D.N.Y.)
I had heard right before the lights went out, I had heard a distant boom boom boom, sounded like three explosions. I don't know what it was. At the time, I would have said they sounded like bombs, but it was boom boom boom and then the lights all go out. I hear someone say oh, s___, that was just for the lights out. I would say about 3, 4 seconds, all of a sudden this tremendous roar. It sounded like being in a tunnel with the train coming at you.

Ed Cachia -- Firefighter (F.D.N.Y.) [Engine 53]

It actually gave at a lower floor, not the floor where the plane hit, because we originally had thought there was like an internal detonation explosives because it went in succession, boom, boom, boom, boom, and then the tower came down. With that everybody was just stunned for a second or two, looking at the tower coming down.

It was a frigging noise. At first I thought it was -- do you ever see professional demolition pop, pop, pop, pop, pop"? That's exactly what -- because I thought it was that. When I heard that frigging noise, that's when I saw the building coming down.

In order to show that explosives were a possibility, you need to show the type and amount of explosives there would have to be to cause the damage seen. Also, for explosives to be a possibility, you need to show how the explosives could have been masked so that virtually no evidence of their use is immediately obvious.

Since you can't do either of these things, why should anyone give any credence to the possibility of explosives?

To put it into more basic wording; from the broadest of views anything is possible.

This term anything falls apart when prerequisite companions to particulars are absent.

Far too much is absent to qualify "explosives"
Far too much is absent to qualify "thermite"

We call these theories dead on arrival

I read some. It's the usual rambling bunch of insulting remarks, assumptions and accusations.

I have read many of the accounts of the 118 first responders in the official documents. None were taken out of context. ]

And 14 of them heard freight trains.

Post a link to the source for what each one really said.

There were no eyewitnesses reports of noises
consistent in timing, loudness and brisance
with man-made demolition.

That is a false accusation. Please show one that is taken out of context or STFU. Remember, out of context means "distorting the intended meaning".

And that's what people that use quotes to claim that firemen heard man-made explosives do.

Essentially every occurrence of an ellipses in a quote points to a lie on the part of the person offering the NYFD quote.

If there were bombs going off in the building, they would be captured on video. This is what a CD sounds and looks like.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=79sJ1bMR6VQ

The cherry picking of 9 eyewitness accounts does not in any way make the case for CD more plausible. In fact this shows how desperate the truth movement is at holding onto their beliefs. The vast majority of witnesses did NOT hear these explosions which would have been heard a mile away. And there were thousands of people there. You forget the possibility that these eyewitnesses can be mistaken, and conclude that all other eyewitnesses got it wrong. Why on earth would you take the literal words of 9 eyewitness testimony over the mountains of evidence that show the structure failed? If there is no loud explosions recorded by cameras, then there were no loud explosions. The eyewitnesses could have heard the structure failing, or combustible materials in the building exploding. These accounts do not match the vast majority of physical and video evidence, which is the best evidence to go by. Therefore we can conclude there were no bombs in the building. To suggest otherwise uses some of the most absurd logic I've ever heard. Christopher 7, you should really reconsider your views on the eyewitness testimonies you presented.

I have read many of the accounts of the 118 first responders in the official documents. None were taken out of context.
That's a lie as will be shown below.
Here are just a few. They are quite clear and consistent. In a real investigation, you don't try to think of alternate explanations, you don't assume that what they heard and saw was something other, anything other than explosives. In a real investigation, you take these statements at face value and investigate to see whether or not they are correct.
Again with the explosions = explosives lie. More proof that reading comprehension is a foreign concept to you as well as an argument from false analogy.
Please don't bother reciting from the deniers playbook. These 9 witnesses are enough to warrant considering CD. You will deny this like you deny all evidence of CD. No worries mate. People reading can see both sides and decide for themselves.
Pure hypocrisy. You are reciting from the reality denier playbook. Only one of them could possibly warrent considering CD. However, all other evidence shows that it wasn't. Remeber, we're talking about the towers here, so your FFA = CD fantasy argument doesn't apply.
Remember that fess made the accusation that these statements were taken "out of context" i.e. distorting the meaning. That accusation is false.
Wrong. The accusations is valid since they all are decribing the collapse initiation and nothing is consistent with a real CD.
Key word in bold. It's called a simile. Another foreign concept to reality deniers like yourself. He is describing the blowout of the flames at the beginning of the collapse. This is supported by every video. Not seen in real CDs.

Same as above.
Karin Deshore -- Captain (E.M.S.)
Somewhere around the middle of the World Trade Center, there was this orange and red flash coming out. Initially it was just one flash. Then this flash just kept popping all the way around the building and that building had started to explode. These popping sounds and the explosions were getting bigger, going both up and down and then all around the building.
On the surface, I can see where you would be mistaken by your extreme bias toward CD. The "in the middle" was where the collapse initiation occurred and everything else is only describing the sounds of the collapse that is evident in the videos. The popping sounds were the floors slamming into each other.

We were standing underneath and Captain Stone was speaking again. We heard -- I heard 3 loud explosions. I look up and the north tower is coming down now, 1 World Trade Center.
Again, the are only describing the sound of the collapse initiation. Nothing there is consistent with a real CD. In a real CD, there are more than just 3 explosions. In every case, they weren't looking at the building. They heard the noise and then looked.
The real important part in bold. Was it a bomb or a train? Like above, he wasn't looking at the building.

The videos show that he was mistaken where the collapse started.

[/FONT]
No need to address this. The reality denier sanctioned demolitions expert, Danny Jowenko, addressed this when he stated that what they heard was the floors slamming into each other. This cover every sings "pop," "boom," and "explosion" that was stated by the above. Remember, he described the collapse of the towers in great detail, unlike his statements on WTC 7. To claim that he's wrong on this is to also claim that he's wrong on WTC 7. Before you say it, we state that his impression on WTC 7 was based on too little information. He knew nothing about the building and was shown the clipped video of the collapse that starts after the east penthouse had collapsed into the building.

Yes, 99% of the describe the collapse of the building. That is clear and consistant. If even one member of FDNY thought there were actual bombs in the building, they would be screaming it from the rooftops. I wonder, how many members of FDNY that were there support the twoofies? Yeah, precisely none. I wonder why that is Chris?

Please don't bother reciting from the deniers playbook. These 9 witnesses are enough to warrant considering CD. You will deny this like you deny all evidence of CD. No worries mate. People reading can see both sides and decide for themselves.

It's not as bad as Bill Smith's BS that he usually posts, but this is all from the McQueen's 118 firefighters quotemine project. He did a Ctrl+F for explosion, boom, pop, etc. and whatever popped up, that was it! No context, no nothing.

If you want to better understand why the firemen's statements often use simile instead of positive declarations of controlled demolition read the following.

The real fact of the matter is that all of those firemen knew that planes had struck the buildings. This fact alone conditioned them away from considering that the explosions they heard could have had anything to do with controlled demolition. So it is all the more remarkable to hear their descriptions virtually describing a controlled demolition despite their very good reasons for discounting that very possibilty.

Do you understand the point that the firemen would have been making definite allegations of controlled demolition if they had not seen or known about the planes ?

Bill; "virtual" isn't real.

There are no firemen that say that they believe that man-made demolition happened at WTC.

bill...have you actually, you know, SPOKEN to a FDNY member and actually asked them a specific question about the collapse? Or are you just basing everything you (think you) know on LC and utube truther trash?

I have spoken and had discussions with several firefighters that were there on 9/11. Not a single one has ever made the statement, nor even given the impression, that they thought the WTC's were CD's.

One fireman even said, and I quote:

"...I don't know why some of these idiots think those were demolitions...the planes did a pretty bang up job all by themselves..."

Funny that none of them ever said that they were from explosives. Many of them say: "it appeared", "seemed like", "I don't know what it was", "was like" & "I thought it was".

Chris, you quote mined their statements without even so much as looking for similies.
