What do you think is unique in the USA, in this regard?

The founders of this country were, on the whole, much more intelligent than the average representative today as evidenced by the fact that they have not yet been utterly distorted except by a few, like Glenn Beck.

They were for the most part Deists, and if you think about it (I presume you do that; think);

Deism was the most logical possible explanation for the state of the universe as it was known at the time (taking into account the abominations that an Intelligent Designer. AKA Theism. had imposed).

You seem to relegate understanding of reality to some version of another superstition.

Be my guest, you have plenty of company.

Unless all fundamental religion is eliminated, and especially islam, the whole world is doomed. Witness places like Somalia, and nearly all African countries who have radical muslim governments. Can't happen here? Perhaps not in the next hundred years or so, but happen it will.

Easy. We force them to wear yellow crescents on their clothes, so they can´t hide who they are.

Then we starting passing laws that successively exclude them from all manner of professions.

Next we outlaw their marrying non-Muslims, and criminalize their interbreeding with Aryans Americans.

After that... well you can see what I´m getting at, right?

Personally, as an American, I feel much more threatened by Christian extremists than Islamic extremists. So obviously we need to eliminate christianity, right?

hmmm the employee I have reporting to me is muslim - maybe I should be keeping a much closer eye on him... who knows when he's going to bust out the jihad?

Ridiculous.

All that is needed is to be critical of the obvious flaws in Islam, as Sam Harris says, instead of making apologies for them and posing equally ridiculous statistics along the line of 99.9999 percent, etc..

There is something rotten in that faith that makes it prone to extremism, and ignoring that obvious fact encourages the extremism.

That isn´t what people like amb or all the other islamophobes are doing. Their mindset will inevitably leads to what I describe... inevitably, that is, if people like you make it possible for them because being "critical of the obvious flaws in Islam" apparently means "ignore such details as guilt or innocent, and repeal the Bill of Rights for Muslims".
