Even if the BBC is biased one way or the other, it would be very difficult them to make the IDF look like the bad guys on this special without blatantly lying.
 
Nothing less than a condemnation of Israel by the BBC would have quietened the anti antisemitism shown on this and other forums by some members who live in a rose coloured glass kind of world. In cloud cuckoo land. :)

Unless you can give examples of antisemitism on this forum and on threads dealing with Israel's attack on the Gaza Freedom Flotilla, in particular, it's safe to assume you are talking rubbish.

What are your reasons for having faith in an IDF inquiry into the alleged IDF crimes?
 
I presume you think the vid is utter rubbish. The Israelis are damned if they do and damned if they don't. Having read of the way terrorist operate by turning world opinion to their cause, and gullible people that swallow their B/S hook line and sinker, there is only one way I see it. That is that Israel is trying to protect its citizens from the constant attack from terrorist organizations such as Hamas which the Turkish government backs.

Where are your examples of the rose-tinted spectacle-wearing JREF antisemites?


I have now watched Panorama's Death in the Med (the name is an insult to the infinitely superior Death on the Rock documentary) and it is, indeed, rubbish; the IDF victim narrative, set to spooky music, with embedded terrorist "expert" Jane Corbin sounding all conspiratorial, making lots unsupported insinuations about terrorists. It would make excellent study material for a course on political media manipulation.

I can understand why some people willingly swallow it "hook, line and sinker". Calling it investigative journalism is an insult.

Where's the investigation of how nine people were killed?

The investigation has been, as the BBC program concludes, essentially done: the reason for 6 "activists" (read: terrorists) shot dead is that the mob of "activists" stormed the commandos with iron bars, knives, and so on. No other ship which was boarded had anybody so much as hurt.

The investigation's result is clear: when a mob storms armed commandos at point blank range with iron bars, knives, and so on, the mob can expected to be shot at at point-blank range. I know, I know -- Jews fighting back is terribly rude and disgusting, but still, there you are.

Did you watch the BBC special? Do you think they are lying or misrepresenting what actually happened? Do you think the video footage is fake? or that Murat Akinan is not telling the truth, or that Mehmut Tuval is not telling the truth?

I'm waiting for someone to claim there was really never any Mavi Marmara ship, it was just a super-secret Mossad hologram to justify the commandos killing innocent activists.
