It was Islam which has a following of which 99.999% were and are completely innocent of anything terrorism-related. Any difference between that and Christianity and Judaism is completely insignificant to the mosque case - except in the minds of racist bigots.

Actually it was Saudi Arabia that supplied most of the terrorists, though not necessarily all of them. One could also argue that Afghanistan also "supplied" 100% of the terrorists, since their funding and training came from there. Then again, one could also say that 100% of their support came from Pakistan, as I believe it was Pakistan where the banks that made the wire transfers to the States were located.

Oh, but we're not looking for a reason to hate on Muslims, are we?

Just because some (most) people are bigots in the crowd doesn't mean they're all bigots. (Although 99% of the arguments against this have to do with racial intolerance)

Is it deja vu or have we had this discussion about another movement of people? Oh well, I'll have to ponder that one over a cup of tea.

strawman. no one here has claimed that EVERYONE who is against the Mosque, is a bigot.

you know, if I did not hate Muslims, but was against the Mosque, I would have felt very uncomfortable surrounded by all the bigoted signs at yesterday's March.

so either these folks were all bigots, or all tolerate the bigotry of others.
