Are there any other possible scenarios where the baby has to be killed to save the mother? Or could they simply be seperated?
 
byn.. zygotes are not beings. They have no conscious thought or independent ability to survive. Abortion thread is somewhere else.

byn, what does abortion have to do with the Constitution? Perhaps you can put up a Constitutional argument as to why a woman's medical condition can be legislated.

Rudy Guiliani, Republican mayor of NYC made it harder for somebody to get a pistol permit. He even was quoted saying that stricter gun control laws contributed to lower crime in NYC.....

How about where there is pregnancy related extreme hypertension and you need to abort a potentially healthy fetus because you don't want the mother to stroke out and die? Oh wait, you don't actually know much about the reasons and motives behind later abortions.

yes, I did read about it.
it appears the New Orleans PD did go house to house looking for guns.

this was found to be unConstitutional.

I am not sure how I feel about this one. There was total anarchy in the place. Folks were dieing in the streets.

Some would consider this a reason to let folks keep their guns, for protection.

Some would consider this a reason to confiscate all guns till the crisis is over.

I am a bit torn on this one.
