Coast to Coast AM Debate, August 21 2010

this is an embarssing debate. Gage is all over the place.

Ian is being a real good host. asking pointed questions of gage, and he's not interjecting any of his own "beliefs" (he did come out and disagree about the Lusitania being a false flag attack). And he's not taking sides. He is giving each person enough time to make their case. unfortunately in Gage's case, its to his detriment

well... it's 3 AM here and i'm too tired ... i shall listen to theh recording when it is up to play catchup... 'night all!

Damn, might have to go soon. Another company is working a fire.....**please don't call us....please don't call us......

Night G.B.

I kind of wished they put off the thermite discussion until Harrit came on cause that is pretty much all I think he would be talking about and I'm getting kind of tired the thermite, thermate, nanothermite and mini-CDing-thermite talk.

Gage is just showing what his website really is.

1. a moneymaker for him, and
2. a quick and easy appeal to authority for troof kiddies to link in forum flamewars to imply that they aren't crazy because just look at all these people with college degrees and important-sounding titles that want a new investigation/disagree with the official story/think teh joos did it.

Gage is a fool that sounds as educated as a tenth-grade Alex Jones acolyte in a youtube video's comment section. Give any of those kids a mail-order diploma and they can be Richard Gage too!

Ehhhh I dunno about not taking sides, but I do think he is allotting both guests equal times pretty fairly.

I am just surprised that this is a C2C guy being all rational. When I think of C2C I think of ghost hunting and Moon hoaxers.

It sounds as if Gage's entire argument hinges on the use of thermite, which is why I suppose he keeps making various claims about what it does.

The part that's been ticking me off is that he knows damn well it's not an explosive. It could ignite explosives, sure, but it's not an explosive, even when it reacts with things like water. And no one has said this yet.

Doesn't surprise me that much. Think about how much even Truthers hate other Truthers... Besides, some believers of alternate realities  are quite peeved at the Truthers from distracting away from their own brand of crazy.

Many people, Truthers included, can be quite rational once you get far, far away from their personal obsessions. This is one reason why Trutherism is a tragedy.

I am pretty sure he mentioned "burned for weeks/months" stuff earlier...I listened to another Gage interview so maybe they're overlapping in my brain.

I remember the last time Gage was on C2C with George Noory... Noory will take just about anything at face value, but he was very reluctant to openly accept what Gage was peddling even as he gave him the entire show to spout nonsense. Kind of shows how toxic the 9/11 conspiracy junk is.

My word!

No matter how much Gage attempts to cleave to a "conservative" or "responsible" conspiracy theory without pointing fingers it only takes a little bit of probing before the floodgates open.

war ever in the history of the United States began with a false flag apparently!

Okay, Gulf of Tonkin was a "false flag"?

USS Liberty is standard conspiracism but even if it were deliberate it didn't start any wars!

Lusitania was a "false flag"?

Pearl Harbor was bombed by American planes????!?!??

Presumably he thinks the "I'm a Reagan Republican" thing is some kind of badge of sanity. If he thinks that it only goes to show just how nuts he is!

:D

It's a pretty lousy way to trigger explosives, too. Use it with C4, for instance, and all you'll do is set the C4 on fire. It won't go boom.

Thermite is also much more difficult to ignite than practically any other incendiary. It needs its own ignition system -- a system that would be comparable in complexity to a traditional detonator. Effectively, it adds nothing.

The whole argument is stupid and has been from the very beginning. The only conceivable advantage to thermite is that it would be silent. But if that's your hypothesis, you have to admit that all of the explosive-like features, all the uses of the word "Explosion" in mined quotes, all reference to Controlled Demolition is sheer coincidence. They can't do that.

I can see this, Fetzer is a big Intelligent Design opponent and in a previous interview Gage mentioned that evolution made sense to him.

Dave talked about it, but not Gage.

You need to be going for more than a line. I mean at least an X. My bet is on a black out of the card before we're done.
