The well-known "celebrity", Katie Price and her doltish hubby, cage fighter Alex Reid, are looking for ghosts tonight with Yvette Fielding on the UK ITV1 channel:

I've watched a couple of those Ghosthunting programmes; the participants generally seem somewhat moronic, but this one sounds as if it will plumb new depths in imbecility. I'm recording it.

Here is an account of a previous episode:

Neither one of them are doltish. They make good money doing what they do. To a skeptic the show is a disaster but to a person who believes in this sort of thing its a pleasure to watch. Kind of like a spooky soap opera.

That's rather a false dichotomy.

Goes without saying, I'd have thought. This is a forum for sceptics, though. And again, doesn't stop it 'plumbing new depths in imbecility', which, no doubt, it will.

Here's someone (Charlie Brooker) who's seen it;

"I'm not religious in any way, although I am Church of England" seems a reasonable claim these days.

Most likely not the fault of the show's producers - but I noticed this this in a TV magazine this morning - the panel read 'Reality' :confused:.
I'm recording it.
What's the point? Don't real ghost's always scupper attempts to record their antics ;)?
