C'mon back, Michael. If "truth" is really your objective, then there is nothing to fear.

Of course, you'll have to rein in your ego a tad. Don't worry. Most of us have been told that on one occasion or another. I certainly know that I have. Is the increase(sort of) in pay out supposed to be a greater enticement? I wonder how many engineers and physicists live in Vernon? Perhaps its an enticement to have more professional engineers move to Vernon?

Fact remains that Fullerton still has not disclosed that the money is being held in escrow by a disinterested third party (like the Randi prize is). Nor has he stated the measure that will be applied by the , as yet, undisclosed impartial judge(s). Without these he certainly can be assumed to be disingenous in this offer.

I did not really understand the prize split before when it was a greater amount for Canadian citizens. What could the possible reasoning have been? Its even more puzzling now.

There are simply more people in Canada who live outside Vernon B.C., more people in the USA than in Canada. Playing the odds, it would seem more likely that a winner would come from a larger pool and thus he offers less to that larger pool.

Your contest is a sham because:

1. The money hasn't been shown to even exist.
2. The money isn't held in escrow.
3. You're the arbiter of a winning entry, and since you don't understand physics, there can never be a winner.

Ask the mods to put it as "moderated status" and show us all up. First you have to show how the "laws of physics" were actually violated by the NIST explanation. (not just your interpretation of NIST's explanation).

cmatrix resurfaced, demanded a challenge thread, it wound up in AAH, he had a minor meltdown and was suspended for abusing the report function. We haven't seen him since.
