Canadians:Take this guy's money.

If a winning entry loses, all they need is a lawyer, take the submitted winning entry to a judge showing engineers and physics professors say it is valid to collect the money when cmatriz refuses to pay because of his failed fantasy physics.

It would only pay if you could find a lawyer to do this work, and a team of engineers/physicists, who will cost $10,000 or less.

The contest is orders of magnitude below an effort to enter, or get him to pay. The contest is based on a failure to understand gravity, physics and buildings failing in fire.

Most likely the lawyer cost $10,000 before you got close to the money. Could they Garner his wages for years? Travel expenses! Not worth the effort.

It will be hard to mount an effort to enter a contest where the correct answer after reading NIST is, "no laws of physics were broken". Then the judge, using fantasy conspiracy theorist special broken laws of physics laws claims the paper lost.

The contest is bogus, no laws of physics were broken and that is a fact before reading NIST, or the failed claims made in the contest. A flawed claim is used as a contest, to drum up 15 minutes of attention.

http://engineering.stanford.edu/contact/index.html example 1.
I found hundreds of email addresses for professors/staff at engineering and physics schools at the universities listed. Has cmatrix failed to email hundreds of professors so he can get "possible" support for his claims? Love to see the replies.

Ask yourselves, why would he declare such a challenge in the first place? What was his purpose? Do you really think he proposed the challenge because he wanted to be proven wrong, and wanted to get a proper education on the physics involved in the collapse? Really?

Not a chance. The purpose of the sham proposition was to post it, have all of his fellow cult members see the challenge, and then as the days went by and no one took it up, he could declare victory, and get his 15 minutes of cult fame within the movement.

Now he is a little perplexed because someone with real credentials, and REAL ability might take him up on his challenge, and he would be forced to actually come up with the $10K.

But his plan is complete! He doesn't actually have to acknowledge any responses. "Truthers" don't look into dishonesty among it's own, so his job is done. It doesn't matter if he gets a thousand responses, he's the judge and jury and he can reject any and all for any reason he wants and never reveal why. Being a "truther" is easy, reality is hard (something he never planned to engage in)!

Let's see how his fellow cult members likes this. :whistling

Which is where I found the original challenge page.

cmatrix ups the ante!*

Challenge Update:

$5000 - $25,000: WTC7 9/11 Challenge
Michael Fullerton, founder of Vernon 9/11 Truth, is offering a $5000 reward to the first person anywhere in the world who can provide some specific answers relating to the 9/11 event. Until September 11th, a Vernon BC area resident can receive a $25,000 reward for submitting the first valid entry. Until December 1st, a Canadian resident can receive a $10,000 reward for submitting the first valid entry. Until December 1st, a professor in physics or engineering from the following Universities can receive a $10,000 reward for submitting the first valid entry: Harvard, MIT, Yale, Oxford, Stanford, Columbia, Cornell and Princeton.

Applicants must explain precisely, using sound scientific terminology, how the official theory of the WTC 7 collapse, as supported by NIST (The National Institute of Standards and Technology), does not violate the laws of physics. NIST maintains WTC7 came down due to fire damage alone. WTC 7 was a 47 story building about the width and length of a football field that was not hit by a plane on 9/11. Applicants must explain how normal office fires caused 8 stories or about 100 feet of structure including the 58 perimeter columns and 25 massive core columns of WTC 7 to be effectively removed simultaneously floor by floor so that the building was able to free fall straight down symmetrically for at least 2.25 seconds. Applicants must explain how energy and momentum are conserved in the official NIST story. They must explain how a fire-initiated collapse would be symmetrical like a typical controlled demolition and not asymmetrical like every known collapse caused by fire. They must explain the "crimp" seen near the middle of the building as it started to fall. In controlled demolitions such a crimp is caused by blowing the middle columns first and then proceeding to the sides so that the building falls in on itself and therefore minimizes damage to other buildings. How can fire be so considerate?

An article explaining the physics problems in more detail can be read here: NIST WTC 7 9/11 Theory Violates the Laws of Physics
Answers can be submitted to info@vernon911truth.org and will be published on the www.vernon911truth.org site. Any others wishing to also offer pledges of money to sweeten the pot are more than welcome to.

Here you will find the details of the crackpot NIST theory: NIST NCSTAR 1A <irrelevant blather snipped>

I live in Edmonton Alberta.

If he extended the 25k to all Canadians, maybe then I'd talk to my lawyer and see if it would cost less than that to sue him when he refuses to pay.

Odd his breakdown of prize money. I also see no proof of prize guarantee. I see nothing in that update that makes it seem legit. I would hardly, as a reputable member of society, and science, put my name and email address in the hands of cmatrix without guaranteed proof that the money exists, and with no description of judging criteria, who the judges will be to determine the legitimacy and accuracy of the submissions...etc.

Complete hogwash...he knows it too.

He is trying to get media attention; the 10,000 failed. What level will he have to raise the contest prize to gain attention? Who is moving to Vernon?

He just needs a sliding scale for prize money based on proximity.

$1 million for anyone who lives next door.
$100,000 for anyone in the same block.
$25,000 for residents of Vernon.
$10,000 for other Canadians.
$5,000 for other countries.
$100 for people in the Antarctic territories

I have contacts in Salmon Arm.

Hey you know who lives in Vernon? "The Govenator". Arnie's got a house in Vernon if memory serves. Nice place on a cliff overlooking the lake.

I am in Vernon right now for the week. This is my home town, born and raised, but I don't live here anymore.

I am willing to meet cmatrix this week to see his proof of having the $25,000.

In British Columbia, persons can be sued for amounts not exceeding $25 000 in small claims court. Maybe someone in Vernon should take Mr. Fullerton up on his offer.

The Govenator knocks on Cmatrix' door. In German accent: "WTC7 was not a controlled demolition. Please collect the $25,000 from the bank. I'll be back."

No one would ever do a real contest like this without official rules passing through a legal check. "Vernon, BC-area resident" is so vague that you could possibly qualify just being in Western Canada. What an idiot this guy is. I'm going to BC in a couple of weeks, but the last thing I'll be thinking about (or seeing / hearing about) is the nonexistent 9/11 "Truth" movement.
