Australia

There's also plenty of evidence that indonesian fisherman have been visiting the Darwin area since the 13th century.

There was some discussion a few years ago about the smallpox out break that hit the locals not long after the British set up a colony in Sydney. It was always thought the convicts spread the disease

However they now seems to be some evidence the disease actually came from the north through the fishermen who were visiting from Indonesia.

I've always been facinated by the maghogany ship reported to be wrecked near Armstrong Bay, and if the theory is correct that dates back to the mid 1500's

I know this may sounds incredibly cliche, but Australia really is such a free place. I've noticed in a few other threads how, in America, one would often be condemned for being Atheist. However, in Australia, is is the opposite; theists who push and shove their religion on to unwilling others are the ones that are condemned. I love Australia and I'm blood glad to call it home :)

I think it goes far deeper than that. e.g. If an atheist was to "push and shove" their views onto anyone they would be "condemned", as you say.

For mine, people telling others how to do things will be told to "piss off".

Generally speaking, we appreciate each others differences and have a fantastic "live and let live" attitude regardless of belief.

Welcome secrets!

I've got a nasty coldie at the moment.
I'm all rugged up, headachy, sore throaty and sniffly.

It sucks!

LOL.
Are you trying to push me off the wagon? :)
I think I'll pass, I'd rather be miserable for a day or two than the rest of me days.

Cheers
