HAARP, EISCAT & Recent Temperature Increases This Year

This thread consists of a section which is not a Conspiracy Theory and is based on available fact, and a section which is a Conspiracy Theory. It's to help draw a line in the sand differentiating what is speculation and what is not.

This Part Isn't Really a CT: When you consider that leading climate-scientists were exposed downplaying or ignoring warm periods in the past, then fudging data to suggest an ever increasing runaway climate-change to exaggerate humanity's role in global warming (I'm not saying that mankind has no role in global warming, I'm simply saying they manipulated figures to suggest that global warming was far worse than it is, and that humans had a much larger role than stated) when in actuality the hottest temperature on the globe was in 1998. This was exposed when either a hacker or an insider leaked a whole bunch of e-mails from the East Anglia CRU, and placed them on a Russian server -- something that was called "Climategate"

This Part *IS* CT: As global temperatures have dropped since 1998, yet we've been seeing increasingly erratic weather, and this year, weather has become even more erratic, and temperatures seem to be going up (though I'm not sure about the global average -- it may still be lower than 1998 -- I just don't know). I'm wondering if HAARP, EISCAT, and other programs of this sort are being used to drive up the temperatures up on Earth and/or cause increasingly erratic weather patterns which will then be blamed on green-house gasses and AGW.

What do all of you think?

Hope I don't disappear mysteriously, get a heart-attack or stroke, contract some incurable disease or cancer, get some bizarre form of poisoning, "commit suicide", or end up arrested on bogus manufactured charges. :p

Uhh... those scientists were exonerated of any wrongdoing.

And HAARP can not be aimed.

Assuming that we have had more "erratic" weather since 1998 - which I would dispute until you show the data - there is no reason to believe that HAARP or anything else caused it. In fact, since we know exactly what HAARP does, we know that it could not cause global temperature increases.

It is just as likely that the premiere of Buffy the Vampire Slayer (also occurred in 1998!) is responsible for global warming, if we use your logic.

How much energy would it take to raise the temperature of the Earths atmosphere by one degree?

What is the power output of HAARP?

No offense, but you seem to overestimate your own importance.

EDIT: It didn't occur to me until after I posted this that the temperature of the earths oceans have a greater impact on our climate than the temperature of the air itself. Since water is far denser than air, the energy expenditure required to heat the oceans by even a single degree is orders of magnitude greater than to heat just the atmosphere.

Firstly, no. Not only are they not being used for your paranoid nonsense, it's not physically possible for them to be used for it. Secondly, if some project was being used to heat the Earth up, it wouldn't be blamed on anthropogenic global warming, it would be anthropogenic by definition.

Perhaps you should look up the meaning of the word "exonerated," and compare that with the meaning of the word "pardoned."
