No, that was Tor Johnson walking around in a business suit. You may be thinking of Robot Monster, but that was a guy walking around in a gorilla suit and a diving helmet.

It is said that George Barrows got the job playing Ro-man because he owned his own gorilla suit and thus saved the producers the cost of renting one.
 
I remember the KKK once marching, many years ago, in a section of our city which they thought would be receptive. Mostly there was derisive laughter. They didn't come back to that area again.

Personal favorite was in the favorite, where "Jesus" says "Fred has Issues."

Actually it just said ""Support Fiction - Read the Bible", not "Science Fiction". Makes more sense that way too.
 
The magnets one was genius. I also particularly liked "The Cylons destroyed the 12 Colonies for your sins" (and that's despite being a fan of old-school BSG over the re-imagining).

I'm pretty sure most of the folks with Phelps are his kids & grandkids so only the little ones are (possibly) virgins.

Hmm...maybe the church was recruiting and not protesting. Virgins are hard to come by.
