We have trouble with the satellite uplink, particularly during arrival and departure when the vessel is turning "rapidly" and vibrating.

I have been unable to locate a manual on board*, and had no idea what the error codes on the parabola control module meant.

So I called tech support.

It was a very positive experience, (apart from the barely audible and fast Norwegian), he could guide me through the menus, and were obviously familiar with the system.
It led to intermittent connection as the parabola were not tracking too well, he inquired to our location so he can send a technician tomorrow.

Not all tech support is of the forever on hold version. :)

*Unusual, this vessel is a disaster that way.

Are you suggesting that your situation can be equitably compared to that of a customer having, for example, a problem with his Dell home computer?

I don't think so. I think your business relationship is quite a bit different.

Anyway, did you try turning it off and then on again?
:D

Actually I tried the reset button, with limited success. :)

Ok, there is a difference from this to a dell computer.
Number and price of units sold, and vessels usually have someone on board who have already checked the fuses.
