TAM8 Photo links

We didn't get a ton of pictures either, but my husband posted a few of them to his Facebook account. I apologize in advance if his privacy settings won't allow you to view them!

Thanks for all of the great pictures, everyone! I'm hoping to find more candid shots of me as Kaylee at the Skepchick party, but I've only seen maybe three total.

Got any more of Julia?

I'm only asking, because she seems to like how you've captured her, especially here:

Sorry, but I posted all my Julias. If I had any aptitude at all for stalking I suppose I'd have more shots of her, but, alas, I'm easily distracted by other subject matter.

And contrary to my smart ass caption on Flickr, that shot is heavily edited. I caught her with a fleeting expression that implied something more intimate than standing on stage leading a discussion panel, so I removed the background elements.

As always I tend to take a gazillion photos of Randi. (Who doesn't?) This one is my favorite.

Today I should have time to start looking through all these links. I am dying to see some good shots of myself, but not holding out much hope. LOL

Also looking for pictures from MDC, anyone who was shooting near the front please PM me. I am actually looking for something specific.

Next year look for me, I was taking portraits for everyone who asked. I was also tweeting about my intention to do so every day. :)

Apologies for not having mine up yet. Physics teacher conference got in the way. I hope to post this week. I *did* catch some keepers, though.

As always, the trick is to edit your selections to the best of the best. I typically keep no more than 10% of what I shot. And when I was shooting, I thought each frame would be a winner.

The proverbial difference between the amateur and the professional is that the professional throws out far more pics than the amateur does.
