Jewish dance group stoned in Hanover, Germany

where does non Muslim's antisemitism come from ?
The need for a scapegoat for all the world's problems in modern times. But it evolved from good old-fashioned religious hatred.

you seem to have a very simplistic view on this problem.

i do? Then please find a non-religious motive for, say, the spanish eviction of the jews in the 1490s.

1490 ? we have 2010 and still there is antisemitism.

That seems like a very strange example in this discussion. There were Jews in Spain in the 1490s because the Muslims didn't throw them out.

Please try to follow along. We were discussing the historical motivations for anti-semitism.

The Jews killed Jesus you know.

ok, and that is today still the main motivator for becoming an antisemite?

So? How is that a rebuttal to what I said?

The medieval Christians hated Jews for purely religious reasons, and so do the fundy Islamists today.

As Christianity reformed and became less intolerant non-religious reasons evoilved for hating the Jews. Like Hitler scapegoating them by claiming they and the Communists undermined the German economy.

Hell, the anti-semites here still claim that Jews started both world wars, none of which occurred post-Israel.

Did you see the part where the reasons evolved into non-religious ones after the reformation?

Damn Jews control the economy, spread disease, etc.

I'm curious as to what the heck this has to do with the German stone throwers. They have yet to be interviewed.

well with that you are already alot closer. Many many Jews are very succesfull in most things they do, which often leads to jalousy which leads to hatred etc. no religons involved.

eh...er.....this is where I step in.

anti-Semitism has nothing to do with Jews being "very" succesful at most things we do. that's just an excuse.

anti-Semitism is totally based on the religious confict with Christians, and to a lesser degree with Muslims.

had Jesus been born in Greece, anti-Semitism would not exist.

that may be your point of view, but that doesnt mean its correct
Prime indicator when you're wrong is when you introduce the POV argument. Thanks. Not arguing POV.

If you don't want to get called upon making certain statements, then don't make them in the first place. :D

how would you even know as you do not even talk German.?
the word Kiesel does always describe its size, not very precise, but more precise than saying only Stein.
Hello slow horse out of the gates, I said I speak Dutch, and just like in German, when one refers to kieselstein (or variations of it), one doesn't necessarily speak about specifications of stones between .07-2.5 inches in everyday talk, unless you are some sort of material engineer or something along those lines.

You're arguing in circles here. I've mentioned why the term stone should be used since it doesn't outright declare size as pebble does.

What do you not understand here?

Ok, so you're going to continue acting this way for your own entertainment.

Not arguing whether the word is 'OK' to be used in everyday usage. Haven't been arguing this at all. So closing this off since you're utterly incapable of arguing the points.
