What does an angel look like?

Or Kitty Wells ... I've always had a weakness for Honky Tonk Angels, who rank right up there with Honky Tonk Women ... :)

Angels are idealized humans with feathered wings and halos, Bigfoot hair is typically brown, Unicorns are usually white but you can get all colours of the rainbow and Harry Potter has a lighting scar on his forehead...but when I asked my wife what an angel looks like, she insisted on this:


I'm not kidding - he's been her 'celebrity that you're allowed to have affair with and your partner can't get mad' for at least the last ten years.

If we're going to assume angels exist, for the purposes of this thread (and it's a pretty big assumption), don't they have the power to assume any form they wish according to need?

Scaring Unbelievers: Big, multi-headed, multi-eyed monstrosities.

Rewarding the Faithful: Wings, halo, beams of light etc.
