Jewish dance group stoned in Hanover, Germany

That's disturbing. I know there is a large population of muslims in Europe that are hostile to Jews in particular. Hopfully that kind of activity does not come to America.

Was surprised to read this morning that Muslims have been blocking streets in New York for prayer though. Never though that would be allowed to occur.

I seem to recall some rules that attacking Jews is acceptable unless someone dies. Then a line must be drawn.
 
It has been 80 years since krystal nacht and 65 years since the holocaust. I don't advocate forgetting it, but at some point one has to recognize that NONE of the current german had to do anything with it, and tehrefore it is not "worst" to have people throw stone at jew in germany than it would be in , say , new york. There are idiot everywhere. One can't control population so far as to prevent such idiot to act on stupid idea, one can only punish afterward. I would like to see people get a bit more rational and stop climb up on their high horse because it involve germany. If this was treated as a normal incident, it would not empower those retard as much as when it makes the news.

joking aside, this is probably an good example of Muslims expressing legitimate anger...in illegitimate ways.

the Israeli govt. and many of its people have been doing very bad things to Muslims, and Muslims are right to be mad at them. but of course, violence against innocent people is never justified.

Yeah, I really wonder if a thread about any other peaceful group of people having rocks thrown at them would devolve so quickly into a comedy thread.

Can anyone link me to a thread where a violent, completely unprovoked attack was met so overwhelmingly with jokes?
 
Jews are the only ethic/religious group in Europe that cannot walk around recognisable in main population centres without getting harassed.
Synagogues have no signs on them, when tension rises they get police protection.

It isn't 'expressing anger over the middle east situation'. It is a racist attack.

What hatred? They were defending themselves against a blatant Zionist incursion on their home soil, and... gawd, can't even write that jokingly without feeling sick to the stomach.

You know, the sad thing is this is probably not even going to make the news over here in Norway, and if it does, it'll be met with the usual shrugs or "oh, but this is nothing compared to what the Jews are doing to the Palestinians".

Great then we can just categorize any harm done by Palestinians by Israelis as legitimate anger expressed in illegitimate ways.

Sorry, but working as I do in a city with a reasonably visible Jewish community I'm afraid I'm going to challenge that claim.
