Boycott 9-11 section for 1 week

Unfortunately, in my capacity as a Mod, I do not have the option of boycotting a thread or a sub-forum, but in my capacity as a Member, I think the suggestion for the experiment is an interesting one. I'll look forward to seeing the stats after the week is up. :)

This is just one of the reasons I thought the "boycott" was absurd.
Twoofers are here for the attention, nothing else. Did people really expect them to post more, with less response? Not well thought out, me thinks.

My unrealistic hope was that, left to themselves, they could agree on a story that explains 9/11 better than the 'official' narrative. I have held this naive view for quite some time, that some of these guys could get their story straight. It appears hopeless. At least the JFK conspiracists and the moon landing deniers have a story to tell. This really is the dregs in terms of conspiracies.

I don't think that anyone was expecting them to suddenly come up with cogent,closely-reasoned arguments.It was worth trying.

I didn't expect them to suddenly come up with something brilliant, no. However, they quite often claim that it's us mean debunkers who keep piling onto them that are holding them back from doing just that.

This boycott shows that, even with most of the most active debunkers giving them a wide-open field on which to act, they still fail to produce any sort of coherent narrative, thus demonstrating clearly that it's their own inherent lack of ability and/or evidence that is holding them back, not us.
 
I've seen exactly what I expected. Tumbleweeds. You can count the number of truthers on this board with one hand, and most of them only post sporadically. Most threads on this subforum consists of a couple of replies by a truther, and then several pages of responses from us telling them how wrong they are. Without out us posting, the subforum goes quiet.
 
I've been trying to follow this rule recently. If there is more than one page worth of posts between the last OPs post and when I would be posting, I don't bother. If he or she is still engaged, I'll play. If they aren't, I'll just assume they're trolling.
 
Since the originator of the boycott has decided to end it, I'll provide my observations.

This forum is kept alive by the "debunkers". During the last 6 days, the CTists didn't start any threads and except for a few, were mostly invisible. Much more prevalent were the debunkers.

As has been said, when you turn off the Internet, 9/11 CT's disappear. CT'ists and debunkers alike, don't want that to happen. It's not about 9/11 CT's, it's about getting attention.

This is a major pet peeve of mine as well. Our OP was oblivious, while people were asking directly about it. I'm a little disappointed that the OP ended his own boycott early, but there you go.

For some it's boredom, for some it's attention... for others it's whatever... I'm a case in point.... a year or two of the same repetition makes the entertainment value of participating drop to virtually nothing... but most people don't really grasp the gravity of this until they've experienced it for themselves, as was the case with me.
 
I had new evidence to debunk no-planers. I couldn't wait any longer. Just too excited to post these.

But I did wait till Wednesday. 12:01 am.....Wednesday. :)

anyway, we boycotted this section for more than 6 days. Im sure the Mods will find some very interesting stats.

Truthers, you had your opportunity to rule this section. Most of the main debunkers dissapeared.

and what happened? the Lurker debunkers came out of the woodwork to take you on. More power to them!!

and how did you guys react? with the same old sillyness and denial of the facts.

I think the point of the boycott..has been made.
