What's a "fair bit", seems like a few whiners bitching about the price.

There were complaints about the price by students and pensioners.. So they put in payment plans for students, and gave pensioners the same price as students.

Also I've heard complaints about the speakers list.. If they don't like it, they don't have to go.
 
Just paid for my registration. This will be my first trip to Australia, so I will be staying two extra weeks to sitesee (and scuba!)

There's a Skeptics in the Pub in Canberra scheduled for the Sunday after TAM for anyone who wants to come. I'm hoping to get George Hrab in to do a concert. The SGU Rogues don't appear to be returning my emails though. :(

I've talked to Jay a few times, they're leaving on the 4th, same day as me, so they probably can't make it.
