I’ll be there, but it looks like I’ll only be attending Saturday and perhaps a workshop to keep the cost down and leave more time for some golf or other fun stuff.

Hey there!

Long time since I've been around. What with the ten days of hospitalization last June, then getting rear-ended two weeks after I got out, and the separation, and so on and so on (you get the idea)...this year I've had a great turn out of friends so I can actually attend!

If you're looking to share a room and save money, please let me know here. If you're driving from the Bay Area, let me know here as well. I don't have much money due to the fact I was hospitalized and had many many tests done. I've definitely got Fibromyalgia and Addison's Disease, and they're pretty sure I've got an autoimmune issue making everything worse - like the Candida I'm highly allergic to that is filling my esophagus and tummy.

And, I hate to appear greedy, but there's two discussions on medical issues that I can't afford to get into, but if anybody has either an extra pass/ticket and doesn't mind sharing, please let me know as I would love to have a chance to attend those. I've been getting a lot of emotional attacks from my new age family and I need to not only surround myself with fellow skeptics at this point, but I also need to listen to somebody rational discussing these issues because I've not had any recently. Though I did get to see Brian Dunning speak out about these issues - if anything that has made me more desirous of going if possible.

Also I really want to attend the SkepChick gathering. I think I can get the funds for that, though as somebody disabled and everything, I probably won't be drinking so ... hrm. I'll find their thing again on FB and ask about that.

Hopefully this catches everybody up as to why I've not been around, why I need to attend, why I need help attending, why any extra passes people can throw my way will be very appreciated, and my hope to attend the SkepChick party.

I'll have my camera and be hanging out with Chip to help document the event with various cameras ... I can even bring my small non-HD Canon ZR930 to play around with. It's a mini-DV for those who want to bring their own tapes to record on to. I'll just have a "sign-out" sheet so you can see about borrowing it if you want. I also have a Hi-9 Sony that's a better quality, but is a little larger. Yes, I'm a camera geek and I'm willing to share access to my video (non-HD remember) cameras with friends of mine in this group.

Can the List Gods please add my sons. They are pretty much grown (OK, they are over 21) so not 'with' me unless by 'with me' you mean I've paid a lot of their way here.

They've been to TAM 5.5, TAM 6, 7, and each one has been on one of the JREF cruises.

Is this list just for forum members? My friends Eric (TexLuthor) Janet and Laura (Raura) are also coming. This is their fourth TAM, and they've been on a cruise as well. I think they've not posted in several years...
