Birthers Denied

Oh no they didn't! *snaps fingers*;)

http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.co...-for-pres-birth-certificate/?fbid=4CJEyaGGrqc

Now time to cue the "See they are hiding something and this proves it" stuff.

Sometimes I wonder if there could not have been like a $100 nonrefundable filing fee as a prerequisite for the DOH to consider the request for Obamas birth certificate, with the previso that release is subject to the appropriate HRS statute, then stamp the request "REJECTED" due to non-compliance with requirement of that HRS statute (or rule). State gets to keep the fee to compensate it for the wasted effort and maybe help with funding the DOH because of the current shortfall in tax revenues. State could then say, "bring it on".

After all, if people want to send money to the State of Hawaii, I don't see any reason to deny them. They don't have to keep up the futile effort.

:)

How many extant official copies are there already? Surely enough to satisfy the persistent kooks. That they keep asking the same question expecting a different answer indicates they are the ones with the problems, not the Hawai'ian state records.

ETA: Let's assume for argument that the record IS faked and that there is another "real" one, but it is being hidden. Do the birthers expect the state officers, after about the zillionth request, will suddenly collpase and say, "DAGNABIT! Yes, it's a fake! Here's the real one!"??

I think that the plan was to swamp the foia office with requests, then to file a lawsuit claiming that "pervasive public interest" exiists by citing the total volume of foia requests received by the foia office.
