Certainly not fair to nominate the same post twice for different stundies, but couldn't let this gem go unnoticed.

Any rational adult would also expect only 100% true answers and no speculation within a report that they are paying to have done.

I checked on it because it occurred to me it should have been a nomination at the time, and then realised the post is actually dated 1st May (early in the morning, mind you), so may still be eligible.

Yes, we had an internet in 1990 that you could do serious medical research on, but these great links have now all been removed....

Oh my, lol. I have to take credit for this one. A while back on the ApolloHoax.net Turbonium started on the whole "Haven't been back since 1972" thing, to which I pointed out that no-one had repeated the Trieste's voyage either. I am guessing that because since that time the use of the Trieste has become a favourite of us Apollo Debunkers, Turbo has decided to counter it by now claiming it was faked too. Perhaps someone should point out that no passanger plane has flown supersonically since 2003 and that with today's operational technology such a feet is impossible. I want to see him claim that Concorde was faked too.

Why not just claim all supersonic flight is faked? Then perhaps imply flight itself is a hoax.

How about Concorde?

1959: Supersonic Transport Aircraft Committee recommended the design studies for 2 supersonic airliners, (one to fly at a speed of Mach 1.2, and the other at Mach 2.0).

1969: First prototype test flight

Strange how there is no such aircraft in existence now that can fly fare-paying passengers across the Atlantic at Mach 2.0 - yet they were able to commission design studies for such a vehicle 50 years ago, which had its maiden test flight ten years later! Surely if they were capable of flying at Mach 2 all those years ago with stone-age technology, we should be capable at flying at Mach 10 now, with our incredible and far superior knowledge and technology? Please explain why technology has taken such a backward step? There isn't even a passenger plane in existence that can fly above the speed of sound, let alone Mach 2!

It isn't because we couldn't now develop faster passenger planes than the Concorde. The problem is that it makes no sense, business-wise, because the Concorde was a money losing disaster.
