I'm not saying only Islam can be violent (duh). My point is that it's amazing the length some people will go to not to say the I-word (Islam).

When, say, the Catholic church or Hindu nationalists perform certain outrages, Hinduism or Catholicism are -- often correctly -- blamed.

When Islamists perform similar outrages, some people prefer Islam not even be mentioned, let alone blamed.

Islam Islam Islam!! There. Oh, wait...Islam promotes violence. Islam is intolerant. Islam is bad. OK? I mentioned Islam, and I condemn it.
 
This happened in my neighbourhood, walking distance from my home. Im glad i wasnt there, though. The newspapers are all closing their comments, but the blogs are boiling over. If what a lot of people say is a sign, the socially conservative, anti immigration party Sverigedemokraterna can expect a huge gain in votes when elections comes around this fall.

You can see this action as fostering a charge that the newspapers chose to become complicit in censorship ... but it's probably due to the high foam, low beer, content of their comments sections at the moment.

Funny, newspaper comments sections are often more foam than beer.
