They have no proof because it is simply not true. They spread these lies all over the internet. The PMF crowd has no credibility, none.

I'm trying to find out from you how the contributions to FOA are being accounted. You suggested they're going into a private (read "personal") account. Is this true?

You also mentioned several interest groups that are not FOA. Then you produces four blogs run by individuals. Those are not interest groups; they're individuals. What are the other interest groups operating on behalf of AK?

Thank you Fucanlli do you know whether Miss Knox retracted her previous statement because of the mobile phone evidence or because Mr Sollecito changed his initial statement, I only ask because it seems a fairly fundamental inaccuracey. "Miss Knox did you go out the night of the murder, no I spent the entire night with Raffaele at his apartment".

Actually, stilicho, in Post #10358, you wrote, "The PR campaign--initiated to raise the profile of the case--has really taken on a life of its own. I don't know what can be done about that."

HB responded to that post in Post #10362, then I responded to HB's post in Post #10370.

As far as obtaining the "financials," I believe the order of things when you make an accusation against someone, is that you provide some kind of evidence to support your claim -- in this case, that FOA people are being paid. Then if the accused wants to dispute that, they could produce evidence to the contrary.

Just making a verbal accusation and expecting the accused to prove you are wrong is not the way it works. This isn't Perugia.

I am trying to get to the bottom of this too. If you are interested, I can locate information better connecting Frank Sfarzo to the Knox/Mellas family and possibly how he came to find himself in Perugia after Meredith's murder.

I doubt I'll ever locate cancelled cheques but maybe Bruce or Charlie might be able to assist. Of course that might be impossible if they're seriously using a personal account to cover expenses borne by a defense fund.

Up until Bruce mentioned it just now, I had no idea that the Knox/Mellas family financials were mixed up with FOA's. This is not what I'd expect from an accounting/auditing standpoint.

Both. She found herself with nowhere to go and so tried to get out of it by telling part truth and part blaming it on a fall guy who had shown her nothing but kindness.

And yes, you hit on it right there...the moment Raffaele said 'no, she left'...well, that was a pretty monumental moment. She had nothing to fill that gap, so she spun and that landed her in even more trouble then she was in in the first place.

Why is his weight of any importance? (Most of us here saw the TLC documentary, so I don't think you want to go there about people's guts "to maintain" being that the guy from true justice wasn't so well represented on that front either).

You say the PR campaign pays people to blog and post in comment sections. Fine, I am willing to believe this if you have actual proof of it. If you got the goods, show em.
 
Someone better shine the PMF light in the sky and bring in someone to pull fulcanelli out of here. He is having a breakdown. He is currently embarrassing everyone that believes in him at PMF.

The only way for us to tell is by having the defense fund publish their financials. This has to be about the fifth time I've explained this. Bruce suggested the defence fund is tied up in someone's private accounts.

Is that true?

I think the problem is that nothing is certain in this case. It is reported that she was not at home when she received Lumumba's text and this is based on the cell phone records. But those are not infallible. I think that Lumumba was also thought to be be in the vicinity of the cottage because of a cell phone record at one point: but this was not true. There is room for doubt if my recollection is correct. I am afraid I do not have time at present to search for the record and it may be that someone else has it to hand. If not then I may have time tomorrow night: it is too late now.

This is a great question. I wish we could all likewise refrain from personalisation on this thread.

There are a couple of elements here:

1] The expenses of the PR firm relating to the case.
2] The expenses of FOA relating to the case.

I wouldn't expect #1 to be available. I would expect #2 to be available since they're raising money and obviously spending it on something. There is also the known connections between one blogger in particular and the Knox/Mellas clan. That's the connection that might be verifiable even without cancelled cheques.

But having those cheques would be fantastic and there are posters on this thread who could supply them.
