Like I said, it looks like a hickey to me. I'm not going to argue day and night about it, but the evidence that it's a "wound" is pretty scant you gotta admit.

Is Michael using real names now? Peggy and himself are very frustrated. They are seeing their little cult following slip away. It was the only time in their lives that they felt like they had any power. They felt important for a while but it's all slipping away now.

The PR campaign is not dangerous to the trial. If that were true then it would be hard to imagine anyone being convicted of anything anywhere. Just hire David Marriott and you can walk free.

On the other hand, the existence and virulence of the campaign and its secretive connections are something that ought to concern anyone. It really is up to those contracting them to open their arrangements to public scrutiny. And for FOA it's even easier: Open the books and publish the financial documentation.

What do you mean when you say FOA? As far as I'm aware, this is Friends of Amanda Knox, which has a website and a small membership. I haven't seen evidence that FOA is paying anyone at all actually. Charlie Wilkes could probably answer that question.

I am not as afraid of words as the person who wants **** instead of a swear word!!!

So why is saying I am afraid of words not an 'insult against the person and not the argument?'. I simply asked a question? Are some insults more 'ok' than others, depending on who makes them maybe??? :)

The moderators removed all my posts but leave hers. She insults others, it is ok. I insult her and it is not ok. Fine. I begin to see how it works over here. So be it.

I was using the holocaust denial as an example. In my country it is illegal to deny the holocaust, and I think you are making a good point in saying the arguments should be heard and torn down. I don't disagree with you, but I find it personally deeply offensive. but maybe Europe has a very different history to you people in the United States and it makes us more sensitive to genocide and mass murder. It is something you have thankfully not had to suffer.

I think it is funny Jref are scared of swear words!!! What is wrong with a little profanity? What is to be scared of??!!!! :)

No one is being paid for any online effort. Everything you see online is a volunteer effort.
 
Could we cool it on the personal attacks? There certainly are a few things that can be said if we want to look at the PR campaign, but can we do it without all this petty crap?

Hi KingMerv00. Well, approving of that kind of thing...that sort of open debate, so you can take it head on? You have my respect, that tales courage. Often, these thorny subjects are swept under the carpet and can fester and it all goes underground (out of sight, out of mind). I agree with the idea of taking it head on. I'm just not so hopeful for a happy ending.

This was regarding the episode where the cottage was used as a backdrop for posed pictures of two of Amanda's relatives. If I look hard enough I might even be able to find out how Frank came to reappear in Perugia to seize the reins. He was not there during the murder but only arrived later. If you're interested I'll locate it.

CoulsdonUK, welcome to the JREF forum. I think you are correct, but can't seem to find a cite just now. Perhaps someone with more familiarity with the mobile phone evidence can step in and help you?
