There are ten kinds of people who understand binary…..wait....
Oh, I got the math joke. My issue is that you're trying to point out one of my posts as being the irrational one. How dare you? That's the kind of attack the messenger post that I've come to expect from joobz.Non-repeating decimal joke fails. I iz sad.![]()

FLYING TURTLES? Good Dog man! Aeschylus didn't give his life for flying turtles, the airborne terrapins cowardly attacked him! They plucked out his spleen, fercryingoutloud! I have it on good authority (Sir William Blake) that while Aeschylus was more than willing to die for tygers, turtles were right out. They got wind of that attitude and decided to "teach the ol' boy a lesson that would make Archimedes leave his bath."But, would have Aeschylus given his life if flying turtles were a lie? I think not!
But the Great President (and Swedenborgian), William Henry Harrison, said in his Third Inaugral Address "Bullocks!". By this he showed, conclusively that none of my posts could be considered rational, therefore pointing to one and calling it the "irrational one" is a fallacy of first water.Rubbish!
I havejoobz has shown that almost all of our info aboutAlexander the Greatmathematics (who didwhich does very extraordinary things) comes fromhistoriansmathematicians who lived over 400 years afterhis deaththe invention of mathematics.
This shows us that 400 year oldhistoricalmathematical evidence can be very important in our educational system. And thus this fact decreases the value of the skeptics argument that the writings about Christ were decades after his life. And if we have decreased the value of the skeptic argument against the truthfulness of the NT it is only common sense that we have helped the argument for its truthfulness.
Oh come now! You know that someone being willing to die for X proves that X is the truth.
1) Psst. The "someone" in Foster Zygote's post is not about Jesus, but rather about the list of martyrs that DOC keeps bringing up.According to the biblical account, it wasn't his death that convinced them. It was his ressurection.

OH MY CHICKEN! You're right tsig. DOC never said that he was providing evidence that the NT writings are true, but rather that, while they were alive, the people who wrote the NT were honest in their speech. How could I ever had missed that?Told the truth. You atheists and your ad homs!! Jefferson cut up the Bible and Ramsey said Luke was all right so god in your face!
He's new to this thread; but he's a veteran when it comes to apolegetics and logical fallacies. You're new to this thread. I can tell.
I hereby declare this THE GREAT CONTAINMENT THREAD.
With my absolute authority as a raving loony.
IndeedAye. There used to lots of little DOC threads like this one dotted around, but then the mods started sweeping them all up into his old threads until there was only this one left.
I've been monitoring DOC's threads for the last few months and there is pattern of behaviour that is not in the spirit of the Forum. I.e. DOC's threads fall off the front page of the section and he then bumps them by just regurgitating the same discredited opinions and information that have already been gone over literally dozens of times. Therefore I am closing this and the other threads.Posted By: Darat
