Amanda Knox guilty - all because of a cartwheel

So what is it referring to on the PMF Timeline when it says this?

I believe on the 5th they''d gone to the police station twice. The police were having to work around their time schedule. They needed to question them, but at the same time they were wanting to let them continue going to college. Hence, the odd times of late afternoon and evening. Although, I'll have to review to confirm the 5 PM time, since that may b e a time that has since been found to be wrong.

But the fact remains, they were called into the station later that night and arrived at around 10:15. This was in the testimonies in the trial.

Finn mentioned the 5 pm time in posts around 8/10/08. But he does not give a source that I can find and the discussion is really focussed on the length of AK's questioning. I cannot see that time being addressed thought the question was asked. I will keep diggng

I am sure that AK did not mention any earlier questioning of her or even and inordinately long wait when she spoke to Filomena at 22:39 though

Rhis from Barbie Nadeau:

Amanda woke up in Raffaele’s bed on the corso Garibaldi, about a 10-minute walk from via della Pergola, around 11 a.m. They had breakfast, had sex, and then, around midday, went out to the newsstand by the basketball courts and scanned the headlines. At 5 p.m., Meredith’s friends began gathering in Piazza IV Novembre on the steps of the duomo for a memorial. A giant color poster of her smiling face had been erected, and red votive candles glowed on the church steps, lighting the late afternoon sky. Amanda and Raffaele did not go to the vigil. Instead, they waited until it was over before visiting a boutique near the duomo to buy underwear for Amanda. Her apartment had been secured as crime scene, and except for the few things she was able to grab on the way out, she had only the clothes on her back. But instead of somberly going in to buy the items she needed, she is shown on closed-circuit TV footage kissing Raffaele and laughing with him as they hold up various G-strings. In one still shot taken from the footage, Raffaele is standing behind Amanda with his hands on her hips and his groin pressed into her. A few days after their arrest, the store owner, Carlo Maria Scotto di Rinaldi, remembered their odd behavior and turned over the tape. “They came into the shop at about 7 p.m. and were there for about 20 minutes,” he later testified in court. “She bought a camisole and G-string. I heard her tell him that ‘Afterwards I’m going to take you home and put this on so we can have wild sex together.’”

So, it would appear, while the vigil was going on, they went shopping for underwear, after which they went for pizza and then were called into the station.

On the vigil, Patrick attended it. In fact, he helped organise it. He was giving flyers out for it the previous day:

In regard to Finn's Timeline, I must point out that it was never updated or maintained since it's time of posting. Therefore, it cannot be regarded as a source. Timelines, require constant updating, they are always a work in progress. The only PMF Timeline that has been constantly maintained is the Comprehensive Timeline Primary. But even that requires an update or two.

Apologies for quoting myself, but I suppose I need to rephrase this:

So, it would appear, while the vigil was going on, they went shopping for underwear, then they went home and were shagging during the vigil, after which they went out for pizza (being on the nest is hungry work) and then they were called into the station.

According to this source, Amanda bought underwear on Saturday.

Amanda Knox, 20, from Seattle, and Raffaele Sollecito, 23, visited a lingerie shop in Perugia on the evening of Saturday Nov 3, according to testimony from the shop owner, Scotto di Rinaldi, to police.

The memorial was on Monday, November 5.

Yet another confirmation that Barbie is not a reliable source.

I wondered whether the Finn timeline might not have been derived by working backwards from 1:45am and 5:45am based on the claims of the length of the interrogation? Anyway, I now don't understand the claims about them eating pizza being suspicious as that clearly happened quite a bit after they bunked the memorial to buy underwear. I realize this isn't an urgent issue, but it seems to make no sense, so if the quote is good then we are missing some piece of information that we need to understand it.

Thanks Kestrel. The 5th does seem rather late to have survived to on only one set of underwear while going to university and getting interrogated at odd hours. I'm a guy and I'd have caved in to hygiene was sooner than that.

Your source is much older.

And I'm sorry, I know you guys are just plain desperate to try and get Barbie Nadeau (The Enemy) off of the 'reliable source' list, but no cigar. She, along with Andrea Vogt, Nick Pisa and possibly Ann Wise are the most reliable journalists to cover this case. All of them have made honest mistakes on occasion, as even the most conscientious and objective reporter will in a highly complex case, but it doesn't change the fact.

She used to like to wear Raffaele's boxer shorts. That's how she was getting by.

And it also needs noting, hygene wasn't one of Amanda's strong points.

Maybe you should just give us the "reliable source list" now so we can all see it. Obviously, anyone who you label as "FOA" is excluded, that's understood.

Those who can be qualified as reliable sources are those who re independent and attended the trial week in, week out and preferably, speak Italian and have an understanding of Italian culture and the Italian system and those who have built up over two years an extensive network of contacts within the case.

Any objections to that criteria?

What is the issue we are trying to address here: I have kind of lost the point. Is it the time they got to the questura: or when they ate dinner? or whether they attended the vigil?

I am sorry but I am not following the discussion for some reason

Does it matter? Any of these people could be wrong. If it isn't clear from the Barbie quote where the information is coming from then it is very hard to check and could be an error.

The third incident, according to Giobbi, was the most disturbing. It occurred when the police picked up Rafaele Sollecito for questioning, three days after Kercher's body was discovered. Police located Sollecito at a cafe. It was three in the afternoon and Sollecito was eating a pizza. But Sollecito wasn't alone. Amanda Knox was also sharing the pizza. This so-called "meeting" helped convince Giobbi the couple had acted together in the murder.

I wonder if the above quote could have something to do with the confusion. It looks like Paul Ciolino is the source. Depending on what you mean by three days after the murder it could either be the 4th or the 5th.

EDIT->
I tell a lie, I think 48 hours got an interview with Giobbi. I wonder if the native Italian speakers could make something of it (http://www.injusticeinperugia.org/Prosecutionscase.html)?
