We used to 'argue' about whether the proper name was Ornithorhynchus paradoxus, which is the name that She quoted from Dot and the Kangaroo, or Ornithorhynchus anatinus which is the name I quoted from the Australian Museum description.

She generally won, but I ain't saying how.

Here's a website bringing to light racism issues in Australia. It has also been reported Australia has some of the worst human rights records when it comes to its treatment of its original inhabitants.

I'm interested to hear what some "australians" think?

Well perhaps we could start off with the claim that Aboriginal lives are being controlled in Northern Territory
 
Also is Aboriginal an acceptable term or is there another term that they would prefer?
 
My thoughts are that white Australians and white people in general should butt out. Let people be.
