Nobody is stopping anyone from bringing Erhman's aguments in here and some of them probably have been brought in here. Why don't you list a few a let's take a look at them.
I have a better idea, there are already a number of topics that have been raised by others that you have yet to address, lets get some of those out of the way first before moving on to Erhman you could start with Greenleaf. I have reviewed what you posted about him and looked into his argument. I identified a number of errors that he made in his reasoning in the application of the Ancient Document Rule to the Bible. Simon also provided a more detailed review of the rest of the document that you linked us to. To date, you have not even attempted to rebut the arguments made by Simon and myself. Based on your later posts you still believe that Greenleaf’s position is still valid.
Your silence on the matter only leaves us opportunity to speculate why.
TickI'm still waiting, DOCPlease DOC, do at least try to answerConvinced them of what?Well I'm sure Jimmy Carter, George W. Bush, and Barack Obama, probably never read post 11054 but something convinced them.
That's DOC's favorite argument, Waterman: "completely irrelevant authority". "Look! {Really famous/smart person} at one time claimed to be a Christian! You disagree with {really famous/smart person? So you're claiming that {really famous/smart person} was stupid? Wow, you must be lots smarter than {really famous/smart person}! After all, he's only really famous/smart!"Just wow, is it your position that if we accept one item form a source as valid we have to accept it all. It doesn't matter if they are smarter than you or not.

YepI could make a joke here about having a boring time hanging around the cross for easter, but I think only the Orstralians would get it.
Does it make sense on your side of the ditch, Cobber?
I asked first.
Do YOU believe that TJ believed that the story of Jesus ended with his death?
Do YOU believe that your interpretation of the death of Jesus is more accurate than written by Mark?
Hum... That's the subject of the books?
What modern Biblical scholarship tells us about the formation of the Biblical myths and how they relate to the common stories?
Asking legitimate questions is attacking the messenger???I always notice how DOC's attack the messenger mode heats up whenever we bring in important information.
Even the supposed shorter version of the Gospel of Mark reports that Christ's tomb was empty. Yes I believe Christ's tomb was empty and the famous Christ's body was never found in 2000 years.
How come there are no names or book titles or page numbers in your source.
Um, actually no. They aren't scholars. They write nonsense.Norman Geisler, Ralph Muncaster, and Josh McDowell are modern scholars too, and they write books that say it is not a myth and give the evidence why it isn't.
