abenja1 is congratulating himself in order to mask that he has nothing of substance to add to the discussion, let alone providing us with proof of what happened to the Hungarian Jews.
Talking about gaschambers, this was posted this morning on the site of the largest Dutch newspaper:
http://www.telegraaf.nl/digitaal/6398091/__Facebook-vrienden_Nazi-slachtoffertje__.html?p=16,1
The story is about a little 6 year old Polish Jews named Henio Zytomirski who has 5000 friends on Facebook. Small detail: the little boy was born in 1933. Says the
Telegraaf:
"
Een joods jongetje dat tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog is omgekomen in een gaskamer in Polen, heeft tegenwoordig bijna vijfduizend vrienden op netwerksite Facebook. "
Translation: "a little Jewish boy who died in a gaschamber in Poland now has 5000 friends on facebook".
Then the article continues: "
Short translation: "
the boy died in Majdanek, the largest concentrationcamp after the Schwitz. According to estimations ca. 80,000 prisoners are said to have died here, mainly because of hunger, sickness, cold and exhaustion."
Uhh, pardon me... if most died from non-homocidal causes how does the Telegraaf know that Henio died in a gaschamber?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Majdanek_concentration_camp
It is interesting to learn how the numbers of Majdanek have come down through the years, starting with 1.5M to indeed 80,000 now, incl. 50,000 Jews.
But the 6M figure remains sacrosanct.
Unless somebody comes up with better arguments (dudalbs lame attempt to convert the butter rationing of dr. Mergerle into proof of 1M gassed is not good enough) I stay with
bishop Williamson who says that maybe ca. 200,000 Jews died in the camps in total, none in the gaschambers and most from sickness (typhus, hence the zyklon-B) and exhaustion. 200,000 is still a lot but it is in the order of magnitude of Dresden, Hamburg, Hiroshima or Nagasaki. The difference is: the killings in the towns mentioned was intentional, the deaths in the camps not (really).
