Steven Jones on Haiti

What oil? What oil?

The oil that Steven Jones says is there! He should know, he's a scientist!

I'll have you know that Dr Steven Jones is a world-renowned physicist and a leading expert on thermite too. If anyone knows anything about oil in Haiti he does. He also speaks 5 languages including Latin and Klingon. Show the guy some respect.

Every government on earth knows that the Americans can use HAARP to cause Earthquakes, Hurricanes, Tsunamis, Cyclones and what have you The only ones who don't know are the general populations of the world.

Must you believe in every new pop-crank nonsense theory that comes along the halls of the "conspiratorially addicted"??

Not to mention his work on Jesus' travels in the new world. Now that I think about it, if someone of his stature thinks there's something in this earthquake machine business then it probably is true.

that's what Bill does. it's her little way of agreeing with everything that could have happened because the law of averages means eventually, she has to get something right.

Too bad she's batting oh-for-eleventy seven thousand

Sofa king wee todd did.

I think we should start maintaining a list of all the things HAARP can supposedly do.

1) create a monstrous hurricane off the east coast that batters NYC with clear skies and 5 MPH winds
2) create earthquakes in the poorest country in the Carribbean but not in countries that really piss off the USA.

Stephen Jones gears up for a talk about Haiti and says that the crisis was generated to grab the oil.

[ur.l removed b/c JREF won't allow it in my posts, yet. I'm only on #12]

He starts speaking about this at around the 6:20 mark on this video after David Ray Griffin waffles on about Sunstein (I think, I didn't actually listen to it though).

Sounds like he's doing another talk a bit later on and so is only introducing it here so maybe there's more video somewhere.

He seems a bit nervous as if he's worried about sounding like the nuttiest guy in a roomful of nuts. So he starts giggling a bit on the subject of the wars in Iraq, Afghanistan and torture.

Oh, greaaaat. Troother claptrap artist pontificating about Haiti, now.

We could have guessed it would only be a matter of time.

I didn't really get whether he thought we MADE the earthquake, or whether he just thinks we only responded to the ensuing disaster because they supposedly have all this oil.

Haitian: "Why isn't our big, rich neighbor to the north sending people to help us, like they usually do when some country has a natural disaster."

Truther: "You don't have anything they want to grab from you."

I've always thought that if the NYC Chamber of Commerce and tourist bureau could find the people that use HAARP to make weather like we had during Sept 9-11/2001, the chamber would pay them to do it all the time. New Yorkers remember those days as wonderful fall weather.

Well, he talks about this in the context of "generated crises". He builds up to it by saying that whenever there is a crisis the "official story" should always be questioned. Okay... so, does he mean that the "official story" is that the US has gone to help but really it has gone to grab the oil?

No, I don't think so because...then he asks, "Is this a natural (making air-scare-quotes) or a real crisis?"

Only a complete pyschopath could say that an earthquake in which perhaps hundreds of thousands of people are dead is "not a real crisis". It's also clear he isn't talking about the response and the "official reasons" for the response. He's talking about the earthquale itself and asking whether or not the earthquake is "natural" or "real".

And then he goes on to say, "Or is it one of Biden's generated crises?"

Then he says he's only JAQing off to people with their eyes open and goes all giggly about wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, torture, patriot act and they put all these little things in...Orwellian...and 1984 [/descent into incoherence]

You're trying to use logic to analyze the words of a nutcase, soba. That's a real challenge.

According to the USGS in 2000, there may be 142million barrels in the 'Greater Antilles, which includes Cuba, Haiti, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico and their offshore waters'
And possibly 'undiscovered' amounts of up to 941 million barrels of oil.

Now, wait a minute while we put these amounts in perspective....
The US alone uses about 21 million barrels of oil per day, so assuming the US bought all of it, it would last less than 7 days!

Using the 'undiscovered' amount of just under a billion, that represents a grand total of 11 days of world oil consumption, or a whopping 44 days for just the US alone.

We're talking about relatively tiny amounts of oil here, folks. Regarding Venezuela, the proven reserves (including heavy oil) are about 87 billion. Yes, you read correctly...87 BILLION barrels.

That means that, in direct contradiction to the speculation by a French scientist or nutty professors of 9/11 nonsense, Haiti does not have reserves greater than Venezuela, but in all fairness Venezuela has proven reserves some 90 TIMES the size of the entire 'undiscovered' Antilles combined.

[conspiracy]You are getting your info from the same people who are there to steal the oil.
Therefore your numbers are suspect and probably simple disinformation, and you fell for, don't expect us to as well[/conspiracy]
