I'm a relative newbie here.

After the DOC BINGO game, and no Evidence for why we know the New Testament writers told the truth (and none likely coming), what happens next?

How about a road trip?

Tacitus and Josephus didn't think Christ was fantasy.

Both were writing what was already tradition by then. No one ia denying that by the end of the 1st century, christianity had grown from perhaps one man to thousands by then. Let's face it, they had an excellent product to sell, eternal life in a kingdom of god that was about to arrive at any time.
The punters were pooping themselves and joined by the hundreds.

And if they believed in the Roman gods too, does that make them real?

Especially Josephus Antiquities which begins with the statement, and I quote:'' In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.'' end quote.

Very reliable he is isn't he, this Josephus.

Well, yes, I knew Josephus was Jewish, but I didn't want to mangle the original quote too much. Tacitus is most likely to have had the normal Roman beliefs.

Perhaps DOC should explain why all the other ancient gods should not be worshiped, as they have just as many claims to authenticity as does Christianity.

No...they didn't think that the existance of Christians were fantasy. They only reported...strike that, Tacitus only reported what he heard Christians say about Jesus.
What is your source that this Roman Senator and historian got his information that way?

Are you claiming that Tacitus met this Jesus fella or an actual eyewitness? If not, then Tacitus got it 2nd hand.
Thanks for playing DOC. You fail like usual.

Tacitus' sources were the acta senatus and the acta diurna populi Romani DOC. Were you thinking he might have just asked a passer-by?

Also, your demands for other peoples' sources is somewhat hypocritical, wouldn't you say, given that you yourself have but one source for all of your drivel - anus medicus?

10,289 posts and yet nothing has advanced past the first page.

These facts weren't on the 1st page:

the fact that there is over 5000 New Testament manuscripts in existence compared to 7 manuscripts for Plato and 20 for famous Roman Historian Tacitus.

Sir William Mitchell Ramsay called gospel writer Luke a great historian with regard to facts that can be proven by historical and archaeological evidence.

The fact that there are 40 written sources for the life of Christ (31 Christian + 9 non-Christian) compared to 10 written sources (9 non-Christian + 1 Christian) for the life of Tiberius Caesar, the emperor during the life of Christ.

Christianity had spread all the way to Rome by peaceful means and Nero blamed the Christians in Rome for the Roman fire in 64 ad.-- 31 years after the death of Christ.

Jews have been converted to Christianity because of Isaiah Chapter 53 and at least one writer has claimed there are 25 fulfilled prophesies in that one chapter.

Most archaeologists believe Jesus' 1st century tomb is most probably directly under the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.

Oxford professor Thomas Arnold's statement regarding the evidence of Christ and the Resurrection and how he considered them to have more historical evidence then any other fact in history up to that point.

The Moral Argument,

The Cosmological Argument,

11 apostles suffered a martyrs death in spite of the fact it was recorded they acted cowardly and uncertain before the resurrection.

Simon Greenleaf, a founder of Harvard Law School, said the 4 Gospel accounts could be admitted in a court as evidence, and that divergent accounts are normal for eyewitnesses.

PhD. in astrophysics Dr. Hugh Ross claims there are about 2000 fulfilled prophecies in the Bible.

All of which have been shown to be dishonest misquotes, lies and logical fallacies.

Thanks for presenting evidence against your OP. Your posts are a great way to deconvert Christians. Keep it up.
