Just think if all the 4,000 were exclusively Israeli nationals at the WTC we could entirely dspense with the word 'Jew' in the 9/11 context. Then we could simply say 'Israeli' which does not have the same negative connotation.

Some of Céline's later work was considered to be anti-semitic, but that has nothing to do with my choice of name. Voyage was his first one and it's the only one I've read. Actually, the first of Céline's anti-Semitic novels, Bagatelles pour un massacre, was published in 1937, five years after Voyage, his first novel, and his last novel was published in 1960, the year before his death, so it's wasn't his "later" work that was anti-Semitic. He also fled to Germany in 1944 with Pétain and Vichy president Pierre Laval. So his anti-semitism and pro-fascism wasn't alleged, it was real.

Granted he was a great and influential writer, but let's not whitewash the guy.

No, you have it the wrong way round. Most Truthers learned of an Israeli connection to 9/11 after they began to research. And there is a strong case to be made for such a connection.

They "found" it by digging through CT sites. There is no Israeli connection to 9/11 that is anything more than incidental. It doesn't even fit the "inside job" lunacy.

I believe that the 4,000 Jews story was planted firstly so that Truth Movement people would pick up on it and help get the conspiracy theories started and secondly so that they could be immediately branded as anti-semites. This last allowed for the blurring of the line between what was Israeli (the Nationality) and what was Jewish (the Religion). A cover in other words. The fact that the story came so rapidly after 9/11 is just another finger pointing to this.

I'm not going to go 'round and 'round with you constantly repeating myself. You can believe what you want. But if you'll notice, there is a ton of cross-pollenation between the Truthers and old guard CTers. The NWO, for instance, is not a Truther idea. It doesn't even fit the Truther Conspiracy. Nor does the Federal Reserve/Bankers Conspiracy. However, these ridiculous ideas have found their way into Truther Lore, pushed by the likes of Alex Jones and Ron Paul, a couple of Old Schoolers who are simply using Truth to advance their own ends.

This is what CTers do. They find groups and movements that are disaffected with the current government, and use them to recruit for their own wacky ends. They did it too my own anti-Clinton movement a decade before. They did it to the Truth Movement.

I don't know. While Truthers may not be necessarily be anti-semetic, it seems to me that a lot of anti-semites are Truthers. And I think that the latter are starting to become more representive of the typical Truther as the kids who made up the movement get older and Bush becomes more of a distant memory.
