Anti-semitism and 911 truth - "like two pees in a pod"

Why the hyperbole? Disagreement does not mean different realities. You really do seem to believe that people like me are irrational and "woo woos". It couldn't be further from the truth. I have no belief in anything paranormal, supernatural or religious. I have a very good education in science and I am very much grounded in reality. Of course, you won't believe that.

Well, and I suppose you think that the people on this forum who strongly disagree with you are rabid, jingoistic rednecks who believe everything the government tells them no matter what, right?

Anti-semitism and 911 truth, a perfect match of anti-intellectualism. If you blame the Jews for 911 the idiots flock to support the hearsay and lies and treat the tripe as evidence.

911 truth delusions match up with the hate of bigots who don't required evidence to hate, like 911 truth does not require evidence to make up dirt dumb conclusions. Evidence free for 8 years, will 911 truth hold out for thousands of years like bigots do?

911 truth too busy pushing lies like their cohorts push hate, to check the facts

If the above were actually true, you would never have said this...
It takes a major leap of faith to believe that 3 huge buildings collapsed completely on the same day due to fire. Especially when one of those buildings was not hit by a plane and had a completely different construction to the other 2.
Since you brought up your education...

Please provide specific details regarding your education and/or experience which enables you to make the comments in the 2nd quote above.

yes, lets all compare degrees.

I only have a BA in Geography, though I do work with several Masters in Civil Engineering, two Registered Architects, and a few Professional Engineers here and there.

All I know is that if two people who consider themselves to have a very good education in science and are very much grounded in reality are as diametrically opposed about 911 as 'truthers' and 'debunkers' are, one of them has to be wrong.

I'm curiouis about this as well.

Vinnie?

Sigh. Some truthers are anti-semitic no doubt, but most are not. I get sick of all the masturbatory insults from every angle possible made against truthers here.

No, they aren't unpatriotic. No, they aren't Jew-haters. No, they shouldn't be expected to dedicate their life to their cause.

Yes, they (the more "hardcore" ones anyway) do tend to be irrational or ignorant and display a cult-like mentality. Many of them also make serious accusations against people without a second thought--as if there was nothing wrong with that. And of course their arguments are ridiculous. Isn't that enough?

Btw, if there is one form of bigotry they tend to show in particular it's against Muslims ("cave dwellers" as many of them put it). But I think that may be more a foot-in-the-mouth thing than some sort of dedicated hatred.

+1 tbh

But you are speaking generally. Many are this way of course.

#1. i do believe that it is infact unpatriotic to constantly and consistantly doubt the intentions of your country, and never miss an attempt to accuse it of miss-deeds, evil, theft, murder, rape, and conquest.

#2. not ALL truthers hate Jews. but many are indeed all to willing and able to listen to and accept anti-Jewish conspiracy theories regarding 9-11, the Fed, the Iraq War, WW2, the Holocaust, the Lusitania, WW1, the Titanic, etc etc etc.

and never mind the fact that the greater Truth Movement (part Deux), is clearly unwilling to distance itself completely from anti-Jewish theories.

when it comes to politics, silence=acceptance.

(too bored to read most of the thread)

Like all of this, Parky comes to this forum with his/her preconceptions. I am often a Christian, and many of those claims can reflect badly on me, especially if offered on the wrong day of the week.

From what I read elsewhere before joining there was a ****load of claims that I could easily toss in the "anti-semitic and with no other basis in fact" pile with no other reflection, though my grandfather was Jewish. Mom asked Dad if she should, in freakin' early-70s USA, cover up that fact. Dad sad no, that if the Nazis took over they'd have those records already.

Parky noticed some of those claims (not mine) here and others since. Cultural sensitivity has its place for others, too.

Many people say that Isreal was up to it's ears in 9/11 Parky and they say that there is condsiderable evidence to support that.

But that is not the same as anti-Semitism though I have noticed that you and others like to blur the line between the two.

So let us hear no more that somebody is anti-semitic if they say that Israel was involved in 9/11. Israeli is a nationality and Judaism is a religion. Clear ?

You know, Bill, there are some who make the same claim about Holocaust Denial. And they say that it's got nothing to do with the fact that they have issues with Jews and that they're just reading the 'evidence'.

There is no reason to believe Israel had anything to do with 911. People who accept these arguments do so for a reason. And that is, they are anti-Semetic racists.

But it doesn't surprise me even you're ending up going in that direction. It's just unavoidable for a 911 Truther.

Can you clarify what you mean with this sentence?

'' there are some who make the same claim about Holocaust Denial.''
