It's bad enough that he denied paternity of his daughter- but he also funneled slush funds from his campaign to pay hush money to his mistress. He should end up in jail for defrauding his supporters.

I'm convinced at this point that Edwards must be a sociopath. I don't see how he could be capable of human feelings for anyone or anything other than his ambition and lust for power. It's good in a way that this empty shell has been exposed for what he is and will never again be in a position to abuse the public's trust.

Now John can't even sue her doctors for malpractice after she dies and collect for loss of companionship. She hit him where it hurts this time!

His whole "hero of the common man "routine masking ambition and lust for power makes him another politicain who reminds me of Andy Griffith as Lonesome Rhodes in ELia Kazan's brilliant film "A Face In The Crowd".
