Does 'Holocaust Denier' mean that somebody denies that the Holocaust ever happened ?

I believe it can also refer to those who believe the events of the Holocaust were greatly exaggerated, like the number of deaths. (Not 100% on that though).

Of course, the evidence for the Holocaust is overwhelming and anyone denying it is a denier, not a 'skeptic' as bardamu seems to claim. A true skeptic woud acknowledge the evidence for the Holocaust, not ignore it because they disagreed with it.

now, if you like I, believe that the number of Holocaust Jewish deaths may be closer to the 5 million....or EVEN the 4.7 million range, but do not deny the systematic acts of mass genocide enacted by the Nazis and their many allies, then you are not...a Holocaust denier and I apologize for the label.

if you deny that there was a systematic effort to wipe the Jews of the face of Europe, using machine guns, gas, starvation, untreated disease, and other methods.....and that the total death toll of Jews during WW2 was less than 600,000, then my label was correct...and you are indeed a Holocaust-denier...and a horrible skeptic.

For the fact of the Holocaust has been proven, time and time again, following the well established and well recognized rules of scientific skepticism.

You know, if you go onto the ae911t website, and read the "personal comments" of the very, very few mechanical or structural engineers with pertinent background, you'll find an amazingly embarrassing number of people who claim "as soon as I saw the towers fall on 9-11, I knew that ..."

The comments of fools who let their prejudices dominate their conclusions.

Rational people wait to find out the facts before coming to conclusions.

You mean like the news reporters who already determined Bin Laden was involved within minutes of the second plane hitting?

Not one single person "determined" that it was OBL that day.

People - from knowledge of OBL's history and previous actions - put out his name as a suspect.

Yes, until they proved it with evidence. Holocaust deniers ignore mountains of evidence in order to cherry-pick tiny scraps which fit their world view.

What is much more plausible is that
1. a team of individuals did 20,000 man hours worth of work to demolish wtc7.
2. This demo prep was completely unnoticed by anyone.
3. If you believe danny J, they ran into a burning building to do the work
4. a new type of explosive capable of cutting steel beams was used in wtc7 (or the towers) that does not conform to the known properties of ANY explosive ANYWHERE
5. All of this was done quietly and without being found.

why? because they all IGNORE mountains of evidence, hundreds if not thousands of experts in the related fields, and instead start with their extremely biased and highly politically motivated pre-conceived notions of what took place, and cherry pick for any little bits of vague and obscure confirmation they can get to justify their beliefs.

I just found an old 911 Truth blog with a huge number of links to sites all over the place. the last entry on this blog was sometime in 2007. The work done on it and the web of sites its linked to would have been huge. There are thousands of words of writing, not to mention embedded pictures that would have taken a long time to find.

In fact, most of the links to blogs appear to be dead. There are links to websites that are still up, but even some of that is down. Blogs that are still posted have not had entries for years.

It must be really discouraging to see all this. Surely Truthers here and everywhere must see this. Their world is not growing and there are not people from outside their cultish structure interested in finding out about their 'research'. No one is interested in learning about the story of superagent Lloyd England or how thermite was planted in WTC. It must be a drag to know you learned how to program in Maya and draw cool pictures of airplanes and not a soul cares.

It must be lonely being a Truther.

Maybe that's why they come here.

Being roundly abused is still better than being ignored.
