Nice.. I agree ! One is enough and Richard Gage is our one..
See unlike Einstein convincing other scientists about some new phenomenum, the CD of the towers is so well understood that even Richard understands it, an architect with no previous tall building experience. He is now the Architect of Destruction and convinces over 90% of the people he talks to so we just need to get him in a room with some real engineers.
There is 10,000 going to the ASCE conference... I am sure that is the solution.
You are comparing Richard Gage with Einstein. Kudos. If I were you, I'd sign up for a logic class.
ETA - Wait, is this the satirical guy?
Oi... this whole comparison by 9/11 conspiracy peddlers of "their" researchers with real scientists would be funny if it weren't so sad. It reeks of a hubris so bad that even the Greek gods would shake their heads and go "
Nah, leave 'em alone. They're so messed up they make Antigone's life look normal; we can damn them no worse". On top of that, their central delusion is based on such a fundamental misunderstanding of the accumulation and verification of knowledge that you worry for their ability to process mundane information unrelated to 9/11 conspiracy fantasy.
"For every kook that turned out to be an Einstein, there are 10,000 kooks who turn out to be kooks."
Play the short odds on this bet...
Tom
Yes, Tom, short odds indeed. And expanding on your mention of kooks, what was that thing that Sagan said about geniuses being laughed at? It's marginally applicable here:
But the fact that some geniuses were laughed at does not imply that all who are laughed at are geniuses. They laughed at Columbus, they laughed at Fulton, they laughed at the Wright Brothers. But they also laughed at Bozo the Clown.
Columbus, Fulton, and the Wright Brothers were validated not by the agitation of kooks, but by the verifiable demonstration of their inventions that actually worked according
to principles proven through science, not principles in contradiction to what is currently known. Contrast that to Gage, who still insists on
ignis fatuus that's not only not proven, but openly
disproven. Thermite? Show me the molten steel columns (yes, here's my NCSTAR 1-3C statement again). Explosives? Show me the spalling and fragmentation of the steel.
Please.
Let's avoid these fatuous comparisons of 9/11 conspiracy peddlers like Gage to scientists like Einstein who's work has actually been validated, and who's observations even now still lead to greater understanding. Gage hasn't even got his own profession's governing body to concede a smidgen of validity to his propositions.
