I see. So, in a thread about ae911truth hitting a milestone, and you posting a laughably stupid conclusion in
it is I who have not factored in the results of a couple of polls of
non-engineers.
Have I got that right? It's really me trying to "spin" things, and not you with grossly muddled thinking - is that it?
P.S.: You didn't answer the questions I put to you in my last post. It's really not that hard....
P.P.S.: Here's a silver star question for you (which I'm expecting you to ignore or dance around). Again, feel free to collaborate.
If Ae911truth were to continue to grow at it's current rate, and if the engineering community continure to grow at its current rate, would the membership of ae911truth ever equal that of the engineering community?
Note that I didn't ask you if it
would continue growing at it's current rate long enough for that to happen (which is extremely unlikely). That is the
premise of the question. If you can answer this question successfully, you will at least have a clue as to why your "thought" about ae911truth "shrinking" is so stupid.
I have to admit, I feel a little bad about picking on you. Doubtless, some of the smarter JREF'ers immediately saw how dumb your post was, but didn't alert you, in a kinder, gentler fashion. What I'm doing is demonstrating the group behavior which lets nonsense of the sort that you have spewed, go unchallenged, since it satisfies the comfortable prejudices of the other members of the group. Including those that know better.
IOW, I am using you to point out the "debunker" mentality. It's not completely unique to JREF, IMO having more to due with very deep, sociobiological factors, but it's particularly sad, considering the avowed purpose of JREF.
