Why would it? The name isn't on the petition - it's embedded in a small flash animation, only appearing for a fraction of a second. Fixing it is probably pretty low on the list of priorities.

They were put there to show the silliness of compiling a list of alleged acredited individuals from an ONLINE Petition.

The fact that even after he was shown the fake name(s) that he chose to leave them up there, says a lot about his character, and the character of the "organization" he heads up.

Not that I am surprised...it is in character with most of the truth movement and its members.

Nope, as a matter of fact I think it should be done to any site, as a means of letting them know that their method is faulty. He should have corrected the list, and the method by which he collects such supporters, but he DID NEITHER.

It wasn't just the names, these people immediately conducted a "forum raid" on the ae911truth forum, on the day it opened, trolling every thread and personally attacking Gage.

1. It is an online petition claiming to be signed by degreed and licensed architects and engineers.

2. The group who is making the claims has the responsibility to check those who sign up.

3. It demonstrates exactly how gullible and self serving truthers are. They are willing to take anyone who signs up and claims to be an architect or engineer. I even remember the days of having george jetson, fred flintstone and barney rubble all as engineers on the AEtruth page.

If it is that easy to post fake individuals on this web petition, how can I trust the validity of ANY ONE who is on listed on it?

Of course, this is also the group who originally started claiming the petition was for "degreed AND licensed architects and engineers" then shifted to "degreed and/or licensed architects and engineers" and has finally settled upon "architectural and engineering professionals." Why do we have these constant shifts? is it that hard to convince anyone? Even with the extraordinary claims that gage can convince 75% of the people he presents to?

A membership of under 650 degreed OR licensed architects and engineers... that is less than 1 1/100 of 1% of all the architects or engineers in the world.

Actually, I just had a thought. AE911T, despite having finally hit their 1,000 mark, is actually shrinking!

AE911T has gained roughly 200 members in a year and a half, right? How many engineering students have taken their exams and graduated in that time? Let's be conservative and say it was roughly 1,000* across the US and Canada. That would mean that the engineering community is growing 5 times faster than AE911T, which further means that the percentage of engineers who are AE911T members is in freefall.
