January Stundie Nominations

I think it's entirely possible that the guy, in addition to missing the videogame angle, may have confuzzled 31st with 21st century.

The Oklahoma sub was submerged in the Kerr reservoir. Probably still there, at the bottom after the NWO terminated the crew.

WOW! You gotta admire their attention to detail and subterfuge.

It is in the 31st century

Ah yes, after the weapons used in the Tech Wars produced a mega-earthquake.

Firing a laser thru a time-dilation lens is a tricky and sub-tile matter.

ETA: kinda makes my eyes misty to think we have such heroes ahead of us.

This is really wierd:

"Oklahoma bomb blast and 9/11 were caused by this supercharged positive ion military laser.
The delivery vehicle for the 9/11 laser may have been a ship or a sub, which would pop up shoot then dive."

I didn't know Oklahoma was in the ocean.:jaw-dropp

There's a stealth beach over by Tulsa.

This Oklahoma is:

But I have a feeling that BB-37 is not the Oklahoma he is talking about....

The list this person mentions is a list of weapons from a Mechwarrior game.

I know I shouldn't be surprised that a truther isn't able to tell the difference between fiction and reality but this person seems to believe that a game about giant fighting robots in the 31st century is proof that these weapons exist for real today. :boggled:

What I particularly like is not just that he thinks fictional things from a game are real, which is sadly all too common among truthers. It's that he still somehow manages to get it factually wrong. The description of the PPC makes it very clear that it is not a laser, yet he keeps talking about lasers, and seems to have great difficulty telling the difference between a laser and ions.

OK, so that may not seem like such a big deal compared to mixing up giant fighting robots 10,000 years in the future with reality, but it's the little things that get to you sometimes.

I think that CTers in general are even more deeply influenced by films then by games.
I would be rich if I could get a dime for every time some Truther makes a "Matrix" or "V For Vendetta" reference as if those films were for real. I really thing the morons see themselves as "Neo" or "Guy Fawkes".

But they don't seem to like Avatar...

Granted some of the posts from the Avatar forum are just as crazy. Being an actor is getting scary.

I am a little surprised they do not like Avatar; it seems to me the basic theme of the movie ...the loner against The Man....is right up their alley.
I suspect it huge popular sucess is what makes it suspect to them. If it had flopped, I would bet a lot of them would be singing it praises and saying how "The Man" conspired to make it bomb....

It sounds to me like he understands that list is meant to be fictional. It's just that he believes the weapons are actually real and that listing them as weapons in a videogame is some kind of coverup.

Why he thinks They™ would such a thing is too far below my ability to comprehend, apparently.

Here is one I find suprisingly, um, stupid.

The entire point of CD is to remove the resistance of the internal and external supports in a “controlled” fashion so that the building collapses at free fall speed OR FASTER. “Faster” because not only are the internal/external supports “removed,” but the foundation is compromised by pre-explosions so that the effect is, while not exactly like a “rocket,” something like a vacuum helping to “suck down” the building. This can be seen in any video of a CD.

Wait, what? FASTER than freefall??

Ok, who put the rockets on the building!?!?!

Sorry if this has been nominated before. I can't find it anywhere else so...........

Here's a better link for that one:

He also goes on to assert the "1 second per floor" theory of an "unassisted" collapse.

The Big Bang Theory=... Them

Math, science, history,
Unraveling the mystery,
That all started with the Big Bang! BANG!

Interesting that the great pyramids are shown way back in the BC,
but when referring to the Pyramid "we" built they show the NWO seal
and only a few frames later the masonic seal between two pillars with a ladder inside
well thats something I didnt even catch until it was pointed out

let us unravel the mystery

Wow. I was about to opine that this was probably just someone else annoyed that people were making jokes about topics he was too stupid to understand, then I read this:

Even with the scientific-technobabble and overt nerdiness.
Sheldon is entertaining, but that could be an illusion.

Yep.

"but that could be an illusion." Should we tell him that TV isn't actually real?

Aren't those two smoke stacks on an old boat?
