As for knowledge of physics, I most definitely believe that I have wonderful things to add to the science of light. Based on what I know so far about science from my studies my objective opinion is that my ideas are absolutely amazing and very promising, but of course all woos who think they know something will say that. We'll just have to see what kind of work comes out of my professional career.

If you have great knowledge of physics which we humans haven't discovered yet, why not send it to a peer reviewed physics journal and tell the world about it?
Of course you'll need convincing evidence but if you say this is "real" knowledge than you can surely come up with verifiable tests to prove it in the laboratory for example.
You can shut us up if you come up with even one peer reviewed article about this physics knowledge you speak of.

You have a lot of gumption Anita, even a dog would have slunk away in light of recent events in this thread.

Yet they need to have energy for muscle contraction (or, more accurately to relax the muscle, since muscle contraction occurs without the expense of energy but to undo the contraction you add energy, that is why when we die the body runs out of glucose and goes into rigor mortis).
Perhaps your extensive knowledge of alien science is hampering your understanding of basic human biology.
This is completely wrong.
Here, try to learn something, miss super-student;

There is nothing wrong with being a Star Person/starseed. There is also nothing wrong with Breatharianism. I have not lied about anything.
OK, most people here know that I recently extended a hand of friendship to you, with the heading 'I've been where you are', which you chose to ignore. In light of the above, I must take it back. I have never been so deeply entrenched in falsehoods and deliberate self-deception as you are. I honestly hope for your sake that all this is indeed deliberate, because the alternative does not bode too well for your mental health and ability to maintain a decent life for yourself going forward from here.

Guys, please don't make personal remarks to a person like this - we all remember the sad story of how a few careless remarks can lead to the horrific lifestyle and ultimately the slow painful death of people like Karen Carpenter.

Yes, I understand that the things claimed here would be really easy to test - if they were true. For once, I completely understand the fear that absolutely must drive the decision to refuse testing on these items, and I doubt that will change. Probably for the best.

This shows that you are being mean and lashing out at anyone you can.

It also shows you apparently think you should have special privacy on the internet that no one else has. You don't understand the difference between her posts, and the tons of information you have put on the internet about yourself.

Desertgal kindly posted about her experiences to try and help you. Since she has sense, she posted only what she was comfortable putting on the internet for anyone to have permanent access to. She didn't post her full name, location, college, major, pictures, videos, career aspirations, boyfriends, etc.

I think it is very mean, and also useless to try to attack her for this.

but today the same things apply very well within optical physics and what bits I do share about today do not seem crazy at all to scientists.

This is a blatant lie! Every person on this forum with any exposure to science has said your writings about physics are WRONG.

You mentioned sharing this with your Professors, and you said none of them agreed with you. If they thought there was any validity in your ideas, they would have rushed to test your hypotheses, then co-authored a paper with you, since what you say would overturn all of modern physics.

Some fellow UNC Charlotte students have written that no other students or graduate students there think your view of physics is correct. Surely, if one of them would work with you and confirm your views with a test, it would mean instant success in academia for both of you.

Can you get one fellow undergrad, graduate student, college professor, or internet science blogger, or even someone from this forum to agree with your writings about physics, and post an affadavid here? No you can't. So don't say scientists agree with you.

Can you name one person with scientific knowledge who agrees with you? No.

Profesional orchestra musicians think my thoughts on 16th century lute music is groundbreaking and amazing!!! So anyone who disagrees with me is a hater!

<snip>It has the usual Anita Ikonen/Vision From Feeling/Alenara trademarks of glowing white halo and pink background. I am pretty sure the picture is Heather Locklear from a L'Oreal haircolor ad.<snip>

Alright, take it easy.

Major Filer posted that picture, not me, and without asking me first. It wasn't even finished. I have some better ones and lately drawings from scratch. Sorry about that.

That's not a picture of Anita. No? I'm quite certain... I suppose it could have been photoshopped into Locklearean proportions, but I don't see why someone would do that. :/

I have been thinking about , and I wanted to apologize for talking about eating disorders with regard to VFF. I only meant if someone I knew, especially a high achieving young woman became a Breatharian, I would worry it was a cover for an eating disorder. It was wrong of me to write specifically about her with regard to this subject. Obviously these are serious dangerous psychological disorders, and I apologize if I offended anyone.

Possible triggers, please avoid if you are uncomfortable with eating disorders.

Ness36 - as someone who has had eating disorders close by I would first like to note that I see no reason to be offended by what you wrote - but someone who was affected themselves may feel differently, I don't know. More than one person that I love have fought eating disorders, but not myself so I can only speak from "co-dependent" viewpoint.

I know that the narrative of eating disorders often includes perfectionism, but as it has become more diagnosed the perfectionism angle has lost ground. The only "active" eating disordered person I have around me now is a man in his fourties - not an insecure attention starved young woman/girl.

Eating disorders seem to be a little more complicated than previously perceived, and a Swedish researcher into the illnes recently was quoted saying a bit dejectedly: (paraphrased) "Really, all we can say with certainty about anorexia today is that a person at some point stops eating, and then is unable to start again without feeling deep agony."

I have, however, come across people who "play" at anorexia for attention and this kind of person would typically not try to hide their eating habits like an anorexic would (like posting with their real name on pro-ana sites etc) and they always take the perfectionist narrative to heart. Basically, telling them that being perfectionist and starving yourself goes together feeds their ego. Typically - they will then use the fact that they starve themselves as signs of their perfectionism, and therefore do not have to excel in anything. They would also typically downplay the fact they were far from perfectionists and conveniently forget things like their inability to keep their room tidy or their gradepoint average up without omitting grades they didn't think counted for contrived reasons.

This is not signs of an eating disorder. At least not the eating part.

Whatthebutlersaw: Thanks for your insight about this subject. It is true that originally, the research on the subject was often biased with stereotypes because the subjects were mostly young women, and there is still a lot to learn about the causes.

Thanks, Ness. Anita's attempt at using this for a personal attack doesn't bother me, though, so no worries.

I just wish she'd explain how it relates to her squawking that stuff she posted on the Internet should be considered private.

(Boyfriends...hee hee. After 30+ years of marriage, if I had boyfriends, I would definitely be posting that on the Internet. I'd even grab passing strangers to let them know. :D)

I originate from another planet, and am therefor defined as an extraterrestrial. In my past life, I was Alenara Al'Kher'aat. My age was at approximately 340 years when the Council called me in to learn I was to be sent to planet Earth. The Council is like the Embassy of the planet, dealing with the exchange of persons from and to the planet.

I said goodbye to my dearest family, my son Bren'a and my sister Aink'aare. But the entire population of the planet is considered family, we do not limit our love and affection to merely the individuals we spend most time with. I promised to be back after 32 years and additional time prior to incarnation.

I incarnated into human form in the early 1980's. It is with painful memory I say that I left my body of Alenara behind in the spaceship, and came here to Earth in energy form of Alenara. As this, I entered the body of an unborn foetus, thus becoming what is categorised a "Star Person birth-in", the incarnation of an extraterrestrial into human form. I do hope you understand, as this is true.
I wanted to thank you for assisting me in my incarnate work. I came here to work as a scientist and teacher.

Above is quote from her bio. My question: how is the ' pronounced. Is it a sound, a divider or both? If it divides, what and why? Are son and sister names same last as yours and if not how are they signified Or is your "last name " a title.

Reason, the name is part of a linguistic system but there is no requirement or logic that that system works like ours (and I limit ours to English language/U.S. common usages). Ergo, I am interested in how it does work for names.

VFF:

In some of the quotes on these pages it mentions ages.

You said you were contacted on your home planet & told you would be going to earth when you were 340.

You told them you would be gone 32 years.

You said you are now over 370.

So you should be going home any time now, right?

Do you think I'm going to reveal to you the new facial recognition software I wrote that has scanned videos on the web for the last few months? Oops!

If you wanted Heather Locklear videos you could have just borrowed my complete DVD set of "The Fall Guy".
