Which is the very essence of the quote-mine tactic. By the way, is this scientific study the one where a Buddhist scholar goes through a bunch of testimonies and selects those things which fit with a preconceived narrative and are put together in an all-new methodology hitherto unknown to the world of rigourous scholarship?

I think I looked at it briefly and found him making some preliminary remarks about it not mattering what any of these people say now and how any clarification must be considered doubtful. Only the remarks as mined will be accepted as testimony.

Am I talking about the correct "scientific study"?

Oh, and are you the guy who has been pestering me in the You Tube comments boxes?

If you blow up a paper bag and explode it in someones ear, it also sounds like a bomb going off.

Why are we still debating this?

I do agree that the 911truth debunking movement is dying out. Dying of boredom.

Last time I saw him in a debate, he was trounced by the host, John Clifton. Richard Gage had nothing to do apart from smile at the insults that were being hurled at him.

Was this the one where Richard Gage proved that a cardboard box will fall to the ground at free fall speed unless it lands on another cardboard box? I don't think that required much refutation.
 
The sheer volume of Gage's wrongness can be mind-numbing: in his online Powerpoint presentation I cataloged 311 false statements, 114 misleading statements, and 137 logical fallacies.
